Michigan Members - Who do you trust?

New Member here,

After extensive hours on this site, I've decided on my plan of attack for level/wheel/tires.  Bilstein 5100's arrived yesterday.  Just need to figure out who should install them.  For our Michigan members, who do you trust?  Mumbly's is literally the only off-road specific installer I can find in the metro detroit area. (I'm a little weary of dealerships. Usually do everything myself).  But, they are completely booked for over a month and want $380 for install and alignment.  Naturally I'm impatient to get this thing looking like a real truck.

Plan of attack:

Bilstein 5100 on the 1.25" (3rd) setting

275/60-20 Tires on Black Rhino 0 offset wheels.

Looks like this should be a good set up for the amount of slow trail running, UP camping/exploring I will be doing.  Usually have some dirt bikes in the bed, but won't for a long while since I broke my neck last year.  The new truck will be the toy this year (with age, get a cage right?)

Thanks!

Where abouts do you live? Diversified Creations in Brighton does decent work. I would offer to do it for you but I'd be a couple weeks out myself. Why not DIY?

If your in in southeast oakland county, check out SunShade Auto in Troy.  I was gonna have them do my leveling kit but they were kinda steep at about $300.  Decided to do it with my dad.

Reason I mention them is they know their stuff. They also do a ton of high end exotic cars there.  Of course, since theyre payin guys a big salary vs the 10 or 15 per hour oil lube, the installs are pricier.

Id also check out Madison Muffler in madison heights.

I'm in the Shelby/Utica area.

First and foremost about DIY, I broke my neck (C4/C5 spinal fusion) August of 2018, and I'm 75% paralyzed in my left arm (hand still works luckily).  So most projects are a LOT more difficult now.

Also don't have a heavy duty spring compressor, and not risking it with the auto-zone compressor.

Thanks!  I'll check them out.  If I was leveling with a spacer I might attempt it myself, but since I'm leveling with Bilsteins I'll have to pay to play.

I've used:

Harold's Frame Shop in Novi,  Not sure if they will do the Bilsteins but they do quite a few leveling kit installs or used to as it been a couple years since I used them.

Vehicle Accessories in Clarkston.

Total Car Care in Livonia.
