After I installed mine I was not happy with the color of the lights recommended in this thread (yellow vs orange).  I wanted them to match my parking lights.  I researched a little more and came across F-150LED’s.  https://www.f150leds.com/products/15-18_raptor_grill_led?_pos=1&_sid=0de280cf8&_ss=r
these are extremely easy to install and look great.

Has anyone done this on a Silverado LTTB grill? I'm interested in doing this but want to see if how folks have handled attaching the lights to the LTTB style grill

The lights are about 1.5 inches wide and about 3/4 inch deep.  They are attached by 3m tape.  Don’t let that scare you.  These things are STUCK!

Thanks. I didnt read your earlier post about the f150 lights having 3m tape. Here I was thinking you still had to attached them like the other version.

Anyone know why they don't get power?

Edit: got it to work

Would love to do this to my Sierra, did you take the grill off and drill a few holes for the wires coming out of the lights or is there a different way?

I switched mine had the round leds but found the ones from f150leds like them a lot better

UPDATE: Don't waste your time on the Amazon sourced LEADTOP specific lights I used.  One of the lights burnt out after about 3 months followed by another a couple weeks later and a third one today.  Shows you get what you pay for.  FYI, the friction fitment held up GREAT.  They didn't move at all.

I need to find some high quality lights that don't burn out so quickly.  Did anybody find a better price for the 3 light Raptor looking setup shown in this thread.  The link provided says they cost $80.  I won't pay that much just out of principle

I switched my round ones out to the ones f150leds and the work great. However, I got screwed on the price. I walked into O’Reilly Auto Part and they have the same ones for $30.

It was very easy.  I bought a micro fuse tap and connected the positive wire from the lighting harness to the right parking light fuse...the ground wire I simply pulled out a bolt (between the radiator and fuse box) and secured the ground wire with the reinserted screw.  The three lights are attached to the grill with 3m tape and are very secure.  I love the look they give to this  big grill! The lights are easily installed in 5 minutes and used the enclosed zip ties to help hide the wires...I soldered the positive wire to the micro wire tap and soldered the negative wire to the wire loop (not sure what you call the flat round washer with a wire crimp for mounting wires).

I'm looking to do the same set up and waiting for LEDs to arrive. Wanted to know which bolt did you use for the negative. Hoping to use your knowledge to make the install as painless as possible. Thanks.
