When did you do your first oil change?

You really should change your oil for the first time a minimum of 6 weeks before you buy the truck. You cannot be too careful.

I run it to about 20% on the OLM just like I would for any other oil change.

I always do mine right around 1k, probably overkill but it's peace of mind for very little cost in my opinion.

I did mine at 1500mi then every 3-4k after that.

1,500 miles. I go to 5,000 mile/6 month intervals after that.

If you have an image in your head of the factory fill having lathe chips floating around in it, then I guess you should change it early though. Whatever makes you feel better because that’s all any of this is based on.

Lol, I was goin along okay until I got on this forum. After that, I cahnged at 2500 miles to Mobil 1 , then at 6500 miles to Amsoil Signature Series.  I'll be staying with Amsoil Signature Series.

Agree 100% lol. Same here, I think mine was at 5500 or so. It’s fine.

Changed mine to Amsoil Signature last week at 1,500 miles and added a Fumoto valve.
