35 inch tires on a 2.7 4 cylinder Sierra/Silverado

Recommended Posts

Is anyone running this set up on a 2.7? If so how is it handling the 35’s in terms of fuel economy and power? Really curious too because of the 3.42 gear ratio. Feel free to share pics of your ride too. Love seeing 35’s on these new trucks.

Yeah I know they kill economy, was just wondering how bad on this particular Engine. I was looking at going from the stock 275/60/20 to some 35x12.5’s. I haven’t been able to find anything on the internet on anyone doing it. There’s gotta be someone lol

I'm running stock height with stock 20" wheels on 35s.

14 MPG city/ 16 MPG highway.

But I've recently been told that an acquaintance had issues with the transmission.

14/16 with the 2.7?  Oof

I’ll stick to stock 18 size.
