I hope the GM SUV's don't go the direction of the Fords.

Which is?

I would go with that they changed to the crossover platform in comparisson to body on frame that GM fullsize suv's have.

The Expedition is their comparable offering to GM's full-size SUV's and it's no crossover.

The Explorer and Escape compete with the Acadia/Traverse and the Terrain/Equinox and those are full-on crossovers now, front-wheel drive and all.

We have a 4wd 2010 Expedition Limited. It rides nice for being full-size, but I wouldn't want to tow with it.

Can't wait to take one out for a test drive, just to get a feel for the new model. I've never driven a 900 so my experience is from the 800s back.

I would really like to see gm make the all-terrain package for the silverado. I'm not a fan of all the chrome around the headlights and bumper on the new silverado, but really like the looks of the truck all other angles. The sierra looks great all color matched and they need to have the same option for the silverado. Then i would buy one for sure. I really like the interior trim on the ltz/slt models as well.

Well considering the Z71 Appearance Pkg (Silverado equivalent of the A/T pkg.) is fairly popular on the 900-series trucks, I imagine/really really hope there will be something similar on the new ones. If not, I may not buy a new Chevy when the time comes. I don't much like chrome but I'd need to see the new trucks in person to make a decision. From photos back in 2006/7 I thought these trucks were ugly as hell and now I have one.

I haven't test drove one yet so don't take this to heart but I'm not impressed at all really. I think the interior is cheap looking, the functionality of it all just seems really sad compared to the competition. Not to mention the standard engine still has less than 300hp to the wheels. The GMC looks like a friggin Honda ridge line almost and the Chevy front end doesn't impress me at all. All in all I won't ever buy a 1/2 tonne anyways, I'm really hoping the HD's have a little more interior class and not so cheap looking. Ford really does have it going for them in the 1/2 tonne depo. Gm is falling behind there, but they still have it on lockdown with the Duramax!! Thank god for that! The new LML rocks!! Can't wait to see the new ones!

Apparently the new Sierra Denali is starting to float around. I think I'm in love. This truck is going to look bad ass.

Looks like painted rear bumper, hints of painted front bumper, what's up with the cheap looking plastic around the wheel wells = no thanks. Good looking wheels thou.

The fender stuff might just be blackout tape for the test mule.
