Anyone take delivery of a 2015 Denali yet?

Hi all. Been lurking for a few months and just put in an order today for a 2015 Denali. My local dealer was trying to locate a 2014 in the specs I wanted, but couldn't find one, so I pulled the trigger and ordered a 2015. I was told 7-8 weeks until delivery. From what I can see, there are no visible differences, just the magnetic ride control, the built-in hot spot and a spray-in bed liner is now standard with Denali.

 

Has anyone taken delivery or even seen one at a dealer yet to confirm this?

 

Mine will be a short box w/ the 5.3.

I look forward to posting more when I take delivery.

I don't think the 2015's are rolling off of the line yet.

Yes. I ordered one the day I posted the question. The dealer had an order on the system for his inventory that he had entered a day or two before and he was able to modify it and assign the truck to me. He said that would save about a week vs creating a brand new order that day.

 

I went this route because we couldn't find a 2014 Denali with the options I was looking for, within a 300 mile search.

 

I had thought I read here that dealers were able to start placing 2015 orders back in late June and someone chimed in that their local dealer had one on the lot. However, since I couldn't find that post, I think I had read it on the HD section by mistake.

Production start for 1500 CC is Aug 18, from the info I was given....

Order Banks Open: 26 Jun 2014

Start of Production: 18 Aug 2014

Lead Time: 10 weeks

 

You are looking at towards the end of Oct....Usually lines runs for a few weeks to build up supply for the trains to start loading.

Reading through the forum, I found the post where someone has ordered a 2015. It's a Chevy, not sure if that matters.

2015's are orderable now except for the 6.2L's. Unfortunately....
