Wow! People are ridiculous.

Yup.

I wouldn't mind finding whomever did this and telling them just that.

Damn...they should get a bullet to the ball sack. Nothing worse then messing with another mans ride...

An auto shop told me that most times you can tell if it was a guy or a girl that does it...if it's mostly a scratch, then a girl did it; through to the metal, a guy. Guys typically lean into it harder knowing it causes more damage.

That's horrible! it may not have been someone who has it in for you, but someone with an entitlement mentality who is just jealous of what you have.

In the early 90's, I had a flawless '71 Coupe Deville. I only drove it on nice days, and would park a half-mile away from everyone. Took it to a toy store with my son, and came out to see an old rusted-out Ford truck parked 8" away! Sure enough, he left a huge scuff in my paint. The parking lot was almost empty, so the clown did this on purpose. With a 6 year-old in tow I didn't stay to confront him, but I did remove all the valves from his tires...

Well, I'm missing the A/T as she's in the shop for a full repaint. I'm stuck driving a Chrysler 300 for about a month. A person doesn't realize how nice it is to drive a truck until you don't have it anymore. No matter, It'll be like driving a brand new (broken truck) when I pick her up.

Found out where this apparently happened. A buddy of mine always park our trucks together at the local Gold's Gym parking lot. Turned out someone had dumped sugar into his fuel tank. I've been out of town and just found out about this a couple of days ago. Apparently the engine in his '15 Silverado is toast.

Sounds like someone just wanted to cause some damage to the trucks for whatever reason.

Bastards.

Nope, no cameras in the area. That's the first thing we checked. Also, it was in the evening so likely nothing would have been visible anyway. Not enough to ID anyone.

Hate coming to the forum to read bad news, man that sucks, sorry to hear someone did this to your truck and your buddy's. Time to stake the gym out and give someone a good ole' fashion texan a$$ whoopin, not that I'm inclining you do that, that's crazy you have to shell out money and time away from your truck from somebody's ignorant actions.
