I'd like the tailgate to lock whenever I lock my doors

I'd like keyless entry and push button start as well

I'd like tires that lasted more than 28k miles

Id like thermometer controls for the back seat

I'd like the bed to be more water tight with my BAKFLIP on

2016 LED headlight performance in my 2015 headlight housing (prefer the look of the '14-'15 housing), rear center console HVAC vents, Apple Carplay, Auto Lock Tailgate, ability to get the 6.2 in an SLE (not a fan of leather seats), all exterior LED lighting...I still love my truck but feel GM missed the attention detail here. I have no interest in trading up in order to resolve most of these issues...you can't even get chrome bumpers on AT for '16's+.

Electric mirrors in the freakin WT; mine's an extended cab with the 5.3 and stuffs, but manual side mirrors (wtf)

I bough mine used w/ 1632 miles and it came with just about everything I wanted, but my top 3 items in no particular order are:

  1. Auto-up (NOT down!) windows
  2. Manual transmission
  3. External keypad for keyless entry (like my F150 had)

This topic comes up once every few months. I love them and always happy to reply

#1 biggest issue is lack of rear amenities. ( Vents being major) and flat floor rear would be great.

Remote start/Keyless entry

Sport button

Express ALL windows

leave the keys in the car and use your onstar app to lock and unlock if you want to be keys free.

It's nice having that app I use it a lot but it's not 100% reliable. I got stranded for 3 hours once while onstar was down. I called onstar and they could only respond by saying please wait till you receive a signal. You'd think a 57k truck would have the option of a keypad.
