Do the new control arms push the front track out? Do factory wheels fit all right with the new UCA's?

Thanks guys. Thats the plan, to get some blocks under it soon and some longer struts for the rear. Its a good option Nixon. Not the cheapest option out there, but its one of the best lift/ride quality and fuel mileage combos. We will see how much that changes when I get new tires.

Hey just a heads up, get something better than just fox 2.0 smooth body shocks out back. They're stiff. Get some factory series res or something. That's what I'm looking at for my rear set up. Nice truck btw [emoji1303]

No it appears to be the same. I haven't noticed any rubbing at all. Full lock left or right. I rarely go into full lock backing up but I haven't noticed any rubbing there either. We will see how it looks when I get the new tires installed.

Z71Hayes, did you ever end up getting larger tires and/or new wheels? I have the stamped steel arms (seem to be similar dimensions to the alums based on available UCA and lift kit options) and am trying to figure out if will be able to keep my stock 20" wheels with King 2.5's and those same Cognito UCAs.

Thanks!

Yes I now have 275/65 20 Toyo Mt's and they fit great. Barely rub in reverse at full lock.

Hey just about to do the exact same install on my truck, i have all the parts here waiting to be installed haha.

The Cognito UCA's call for the service perch to be cut out, and i really dont want to do that on my truck with 14,000kms. It looks like you have left them in on your truck. Have you had any issues with the UCA's contacting the service perch/bump stop? Thanks!

I guess that is something I never considered. Maybe I should look into it because mine have more than likely contacted it at some point. Im not easy on it....

Haven't been on in a while. Just wanted to clarify for those who want my setup that I NEVER cut the bump stops and I drive offroad and at full flex regularly and have never had any issue at all. Everything is in perfect condition besides the struts are a little rusty on the treads from driving in the salt on mountain roads. I have 45,000 miles on the shocks and I love them.  First pic is loaded down with a half pallet or more of shingles (about 2,000 lbs +) Last pic is most accurate of what it looks like. Sits perfectly level, never have made time to put any blocks or airbags on the rear but I pull 8-10,000 lb trailers regularly and it sits much better than when you have a pallet of shingles. Of course most of y'all would know what its like to have anything in the back of your truck anyway :loser:IMG_4361.JPG.715bff2f617849c6355916cf15ce871b.JPG

Trucks look good. Are you going to add a add leaf kit or blocks to add height in the back?

I need to as much as I haul stuff. I just haven't had time to work on it. When I get off work I have enough stuff to do around the house as it is. I would like to add a leaf or do airbags probably soon hopefully.

Definitely looks much taller in the front than the rear.

Air bags don't add a lift in the rear unless you pump them up, then the ride is HORRIBLE without a load (I run mine at 5psi when unloaded).   Add a Leaf is also going to stiffen up your ride.  I'd go with the taller rear block.

Do you have any pictures of your cognito ucas? Curious to see if they have any rubbing from not cutting out the perch in the front

I vaguely remember seeing something about the perch only needing to be cut on the fox 2.0's not the 2.5's but definitely investigate that further.  I'm just going off memory.
