I tested mine on a flat road and hit 108mph not recommend at all trucks top speed is 112mph though. She isn't tuned

I guess these newer 16s are faster from factory? Vs 14-15

What tires come factory with 16s?

Its a tad fast for those P rated car tires they put on at the factory. I dont care what the speed rating is, my lawnmower has more plys.

I've switched tires.... my bfg's are rated up to 118mph, I'm not looking to go any faster then that. However it would be nice to cruise over 97 mph

I thought I read somewhere that the driveshaft in these trucks was not rated for any speed above the speed limited 98mph and would fall out??

I rarely get over 55mph so not an issue for me (yes I am joking). 2016 CC 1500 Denali 6.2 8spd Bolra exh/CAI/tuned I just want to have it in case I need it or if I ever get over to the autobahn........

Falling out is a bit of an understatement. There are videos on youtube of people in trucks of all brands doing dyno pulls at speeds above what the limiter would allow and the driveshaft fails catastrophically and does lots of damage.

I can only imagine the reactions of people there. How is it to get the truck serviced or repaired in Germany? Do dealerships or other shops stock parts? I have to imagine they don't sell too many pickups in Germany or other parts of Europe for that matter.

There is a certified gm shop but it's about 4 hours away near ramstein, other then that I usually handle it on me own here

Do you not get any sort of warranty on the truck?

Interesting that the shop is in Ramstein. I wonder if that's at least partly because of the US base there.

It is a German shop, I'm guessing it's there due to us presence as well. Being so fay I have not bothered to see what services they can provide me being in have a us spec truck although I probably should lol
