Looking to purchase the PnP harness but can't find out where or how to order the cables. I'm local in Arlington, TX. I want to complete the swap over the next 3 days, how soon can I get the cables?

Can you provide exact details of what cables (with the color on each ends), what is plugged in where, etc.

I have the green to grey from HMI (green) to USB input and the black/brown from HMI to the brown port.

Ok. That should work. If you are not getting any charging, it could be possible to have a dead (inactive) green port on the HMI. If that is the case, your only option may be to hook it up the other way you had it.

The only thing is that I had the green short cord for the usb in the glovebox and it was working fine. Could it be the actual usb ports you think? Do you know how difficult it would be to change that out? The HMI could be the culprit, but I just don't see how.

I went back out and now the usb ports in the console stopped working. I may get another HMI. I have a 2014 truck, but I think the console is out of a 2016. Can I just replace my HMI with the same 2.0 with Nav or do you think I need to get a 2.5? I have the blue plug for the antenna on mine.

Replacing the HMI requires programming to your VIN and a replacing/programming will run in the several hundreds.  If you still have your jump seat, you may want to try and swap the USB hubs from your factory jump seat, to the console.  There are hardware differences in the USB hubs between the 2014/2015 and the 2016+ hardware.  Your jump seat USB Hub has an SD Card slot whereas the console will not.  The front USB hub in a 2014/2015 console will have a triple USB hub whereas the yours has a double usb port.

I don’t think the USB ports are bad. You mentioned the front USB hub worked at some point but the storage compartment hub only charged. So I don’t think there is anything wrong with the hardware.

Since you also had the upper glove (short green cable) USB port, then the output from the HMI should be working as wells.

I would retry the connections, make sure the front usb hub has the usb cable and black 6-pin fully seated.
