I haven't seen anybody else mention this so maybe something is missing from my truck or installed incorrectly.

I have an AT4 with the preferred, tech, and driver alert 1 and 2 packages.

My seat rumbles with alerts. That's great, but after 2200 miles my seat has become incredibly uncomfortable. It's to the point where I'm going to have to take it to the dealer to ask them if this is installed correctly, you can press into the padding and easily feel the devices that do the rumbling. The passenger seat is so much more comfortable.

I'm at the point where I'd rather them rip out the vibrating things if they have no way of making the seat more comfortable.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Not yet, but I am only around 600 Mi.  Is it one side or both?  I can imagine if its the left side that it could be caused by sliding out vice stepping out that may cause additional wear/stress on that part of the Seat.  I noticed that I had a tendency to do that because I was used to the power step bars on my F150 that came out farther than the at4 ones, so i tended to just bypass them to get out.

I feel the same thing. They are very hard and stick into my butt.  I'm a bigger kinda guy but still they shouldn't be that noticeably.  I had a 2018 Acadia with them and I never felt them at all

Many reports out there indicate that the T1 seats regardless of Trim level are not as comfortable as they were in the K2 trucks.

This goes back to the early launch back in August.

Many people didn't like how hard the K2 seats were. I suspect they put softer foam in the new trucks and it may be giving more and now you feel the internal parts as it compresses.

Just a theory :)

Yes! I have the at4 with same package.  I have 10k miles.  The last few months, i cant go longer than 20 min with pain starting in my low back.   It only happens when i drive the truck.  The seats are hard as rocks.   Even my wife commented on how uncomfortable the passenger seat was the first time she sat in it.   She has a 2018 acadia with leather.  Every time i drive the acadia, i notice immediately how soft and comfortable the seat is.   For a 67k truck, this is unacceptable.  I hope gm can recall. / resolve.

I have less than 300 miles on mine and I'm already getting sore legs on the side after 15-30 minutes.  It feels like the the side cushions on the bottom are rock hard and certain point are pushing in to the side up my legs. Quickly becoming not fun to drive over 20-30  miles.

Noticed the same thing for the last two years on test drives. Dealer needs to have some returns and write ups on this. Really doubt GM will move on the issue. But they have to have many dealer complaints filed to even be on their radar. Doubt the dealer will do anything. Not much they can do. This will be a job for a quality auto upholstery shop.

Because of the seats and trans, I was so go on the 2017& 2018, now '19s. The seats where just hard and uncomfortable after 15 mins.  I would spend the bucks to have it fixed. My '09 SLT buckets are great. Wife loves them. The new ones, no.

Also noticed that on the newer trucks they removed the small amount of padding on the outside frame, where the seat back and bottom meet. Not a big deal, Unless one does not use steps. I'm 6'3" and just step in/out of the truck. Going out the unpadded frame rubs harshly on upper leg bone. If I get one I will have to have a good upholster address the issue and the hard seat.  Lucky we have several in the big town of SA.

The T1 seats definitely seem too firm to me. I'm coming from cloth buckets on a 2007 LT 1500, so take my review with that in mind. But they are not nearly as plush as the leather in my wife's minivan.

Yes!   I noticed mine after 1000 miles.   The vibrating devices are digging into my thighs.   Dealer replaced the seat Cover but wouldn’t do anything else unless they saw a recall.   I called GMC and complained but they said not enough people are complaining yet to fix the issue.

Add me to the club. I have had the truck for about a month+ and just took it up to mountains today (about 4hr drive there and back), and OMG I was ready to drive it off the cliff. Like I genuinely had disdain for this thing today. This a huge problem, I am road-tripper.

For me specifically two areas KILL me. Driver seat, left front corner.. OMG this think just stabs me the whole time I am driving, and then the right side of my thigh (left side of the console), another OMG pain.

I hated the seats in my 2014 SLT, they were mush, the new seats require a lot of adjustment it took a bit to find the sweet spot. I drove 500 miles the morning after I bought it. I have made many 1000 mile trips with no issues, leave on one in the morning. I know everyone is different but like I said adjustment is the key. I am a 300 lb guy so maybe I just have built in padding but I am damn sure not easy on seats. I find I am less bothered than I was by the 2014 seats as the new ones have better support for my fat butt.

I drive about 1000 miles a week. I made sure to pay attention today after reading this post. I can't feel mine and don't have any problems yet.

I have a 19 LTZ and I do feel the seats are a little to firm.

I have been fighting my seat since I got my TB. Among other issues I agree they seem very firm. I have been adding foam to different areas to try and compensate for places I feel I need some added support to try and alleviate some of the discomfort. I find myself often shifting my body position on even shorter trips due to being uncomfortable.  Just this weekend my cousin sat in my TB and first thing she said was how firm the seats are. She has a 2007 Tahoe.

I love the TB but having an uncomfortable seats really takes away from enjoying the truck. I have never had any issues with any other seats in all my years of driving.  I'm to the point of either trying to get a custom seat shop to take a look at it or even going as far as trading the truck. I really hate to take such a loss this early in owning the truck by trading but things don't seem to be getting better.

Man this is really disheartening to hear. I drive between 800 and 1200 miles per week also, have to have comfortable seats. Dont want to buy ram because of the reliability, same with ford, had major issues with them. Buying a new truck in about 3 months really cannot decide what to do.
