Are the Denali's super adjusting 1,000 times a second shocks quelling any of the vibration issues or are the Denali trucks experiencing the vibrations as well?

There's not a single automaker out there that doesn't look at it this very same way.

GM looked the same way at the ignition switches and over twenty people died as a result. Does that make it acceptable?

No. If anything the Denali magneride is worse.

Every vibration has and equal and opposite vibration?

Quick update. Truck number 2 (my 2014 was BBB'd and MSRP traded for 2015).

After final repair and no fix, my GM business resource contact called within a week offering me basically anything I asked for. I could pick between full MSRP trade or repurchase. I chose repurchase...done with this mess. I'm not saying other trucks are perfect...but I cannot continue this cycle of dealing with trucks that are proven to be built with faulty parts, vibrate on the highway, etc...I have to move on and give another OEM a shot.

All in all I drove 2 new trucks for a total of 25,000 miles, and will be losing around $2k total after lemon law usage fees, for mileage before first service visit on the 2015. That's about $80 a month on a 2 year lease, pretty sweet. Mix in the frustration, and we can call it even.

This may be my last post here, so I would just like to say...for those still dealing with this issue, and want out, the BBB works. It has worked twice now for me. Keep all service records, be calm and cool with your dealership, as well as with any GM reps you have to speak with. The squeaky wheel gets the grease...post YouTube videos under an account with your real name...GM monitors these things and will make note of who is keeping quiet, and who is driving business away from them via social media. The more noise you make, the easier it will be for GM to give you what you want, especially if you want your money back (my theory).

GM was very difficult the first time around. They made multiple terrible offers before finally (the day before our arbitration date) giving in and offering full MSRP replacement. The second time around, I made as much noise as possible on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc...and within a few days of my final repair they were already offering me full MSRP or a repurchase.

luck to all, I am moving on.

Well come back and post up what you purchased as replacement.

Glad it's settled for you.

"Boy the Ford site sounds familiar!"

Sure does. I'm wondering, all the truck manufacturers are in competition to try to build ever more rigid, rattle free frames and bodies. Because these bodies are now so tight, wonder if that may be the cause of this new vibration phenomenon? I haven't researched Ram but Ford and GM both appear to have similar problems.

I was talking to a buddy who own a body shop, he ran on for a ford dealer for 14 years... he says don't buy a ford, they dont stand behind their work.... sounds familiar huh? he says get a Toyota if we want something that wont have any problems.... or get a Ram

It's when the motor switches to v4 mode. Watch the display on the dash. Mine has the slightest shudder or vibration when cruising, low rpm. I manually lock the Trans in 5th gear around town, which keeps engine in v8 mode and problem is solved. Still does it in 6th gear around 50 or 60 mph

Just out of curiosity I did a little Googling to see if the new F-150 might be having similar problems. And, it appears that indeed it does. (Open below url) So, do your homework before you trade for another brand. Just saying.....

It appears not as bad as GM. Only 119 replies and 17544 views.

Umm, appears that the GM replies are about the same ole 100 people who've posted about 175 times :) On a serious note though, it's obvious that there's a very vocal small minority that's trying very hard to elevate this issue. I'm not convinced their motives are pure. Just saying....

Well I've now had 2 vibrators, and others have also had more than one. Vocal, yes, $50K+ trucks you can't drive would make you vocal also. It's also now been 3 YEARS and no fix on the horizon.

There will be a quick fix on the horizon if you quit buying these vehicles.

A few days (weeks?) back I tried some rear spring clamps to help alleviate the issue. It helped, but only temporarily. The shake came back once the springs settled (30 miles?)

Today I tried a large clamp (Autozone - 6 inch? $3) about 5 inches from the front of the driveshaft. I put the screw clamp opposite the large counterweight on drive shaft.

Could be in my head but seems to have helped significantly.

Going to continue down this path to see where it leads.

    • Hello hello looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the 2026 2500 HD that I just bought.   Truck has 3500 miles on it four-wheel-drive crew cab and I’m about to put a 6 1/2 inch BDS lift on it 18 x 10 -25 offset with 37’s   Already have the wheels and tires just waiting on the lift install in about three weeks   Question what surprises am I not gonna be happy with?  I’m not new to lifted trucks so I know that acceleration towing gas mileage all that is affected..   Question is those of you that have this truck this powertrain with a 10 speed Allison and have done the mods that I’m doing,,, how bad is it? Is that Allison constantly gonna be hunting for the right gear to go into? And what about towing, acceleration, fuel consumption as mentioned?    Lastly how come I can’t find any ring pinion gear set up for these axles and when could I expect to see them?   I apologize if there’s any typos I’m doing speech to text on my iPhone.
    • I've got a 2013 2500 6.0L Flexfuel. Drove the truck earlier today with no issues. Went to run an errand tonight and noticed key fob wouldn't work. Figured battery was dead, so replaced fob batter. Still wasn't working. Grabbed my other set of keys with the other fob and that one wasn't working either. So I manually unlock truck and insert key. Interior lights come on, dashboard lights up, turn key and truck starts. Turn truck off, like a moron, and try starting again. This time no crank, no click, no nothing. Lights still come on and dash lights up, but now I'm getting a service 4wheel drive, service tire monitor, etc. Check voltage on battery and Im showing 12.2v. Throw my battery charger on it and give it 15 mins and try starting again. But still no crank no start. Decide maybe its a bad battery, run to autozone grab a new one and put it in. Same issue. Disconnect battery and let it sit for 15 mins. Try again and still nothing. I had managed to roll the windows down earlier as its a humid night, but now I can't get them to roll up. Power locks are also not working now. Then randomly I try the key again, and it fires right up. Immediately I roll up the windows as we have nothing but rain forecast this week. I shut it back off wait 30 seconds and start up again. Worked a 2nd time. So turn it off, start putting things back together. Try one more time, and back to no crank no start. And now the car alarm starts going off. Had to disconnect battery and leave it that way for the night as I don't think my neighbors would appreciate my alarm going off again tonight. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
    • No one will care for you like you care for you. Do what you can for as long as you can. IMHO of course.
    • How about them NICKS!!!
    • Hi there.  Long time lurker, first post.    i have read the previous posts regarding the water ingress problem with this emblem.  I bought my 1500 SLT the  summer of 2025 new and after reading the MANY problems with these emblems failing I decided to install one anyways.  As per a YouTube video, I sealed ( or tried to) this sign with silicone sealant around the outer perimeter joint and the holes that were already somewhat sealed on the rear plate of the emblem.  And installed the connector assembly using dielectric grease on the connectors. The installation looked great and worked well for about 4 months……then FAILURE.  Grrrrrr…… I live in the great white north and wash my truck weekly in an automatic car wash  to keep the salt off.  Let me tell you that removing the old, failed emblem is a whole different animal than removing the OEM individual letters without removing the grill assembly. Mainly because the illuminated logo is built differently than the original letters which  you can remove the red surface lettering with a knife or some kind of blade which gives access to the tabs which hold the logo onto the grill. So I had to essentially destroyed the old emblem to remove it. Doing so killed my chance of doing somekind of autopsy on the failed , old logo.  But there was plenty of water inside when I ripped it apart.  Prior to installing the new assembly I tried it with the old harness and it works fine.   Does anyone have any insight as to where the water is getting into this emblem? I intend to seal the new logo with slow curing epoxy this time around using a syringe.  I think this newer emblem may be an updated unit which I hope GM got the vendor to fix. It has an October 2025 date on it.    If this one  fails,  I am just going to revert back to the non-illuminated letters….AFTER PULLING THE GRILL.    Any thoughts on sealing with epoxy would be appreciated. Thx!   Doug
