What interior do you have? If it’s black leather how fast can you ship me your jump seat. I am turning my 15 back in. I bought a truck with the console. So I’m taking everything I can off it. Just a thought.

I have a 2015 with the black leather jump seat I plan on swapping to a console here in the next couple months.  If you're still looking we'll make it happen.

Has anyone added rear usb plugs? I guess you can tap off the cig lighter for the source. I know I can use and adapter but it would have been nice to have the usb connections back there from the factory.

I thought about this. I haven’t see the rear panel with the USB but I think it is similar in fashion with the other hubs where you have Aux inputs via (6) pin and a USB. The issue I foresee here is that the 2nd aux input interfaces with the DVD player... so we wouldn’t have this DVD player connection to land this into.

If we’re talking about just making it hot for charging... that’s a different story.. and I would need a back panel to investigate.

Thanks. For my application i would want it for just charging. Kids all have devices and running long cords from front USB to rear is annoying.

How about one of these for the rear lighter plug?

I was just thinking that. It's what I use for the kiddos.

Here's one on Amazon that sits flush with the cigarette light adapter.

Or for more of a permanent solution.

Yes I ordered a dual USB adapter for the cig lighter plug which will work fine. I was surprised there was no rear usb in a truck that cost so much. May look to add a permanent one in the rear console at some point.

Via PM... but I am SOLD OUT right now. There is a component that is on Backorder that I need to complete these.

Also, you’ll need check under your passenger seat and let me know if you have a 16-Pin or 23-Pin Connector.

As the harness is sold out at the moment. What is the easier way to make some of the ports work? Can I use the jump seat harness to get at least the inside compartment usb working? I'm not good at cutting and slicing wires.

Yes, also order a 5 pin mini male x male wire from Amazon, plugs into the hmi under your glove box to the front USB hubs on your console, I had to trim the rubber off the ends of the wire to get it to fit into the ports.

    • I just brought home a 2020 GMC 1500 Denali.  She has 53K miles on her and I want to change out the fluids over the next few weeks.  I see the diff covers don't have drain plugs.  Any suggestions where I can pick up front and rear diff covers with drain plugs?   Thanks,   Bob
    • Well, the dealership got the compressor and installed it. Air at the vents seems nice and cold as it should be. The service manager said the repair has a two year warranty and unlimited mileage. Hopefully I don't have to use it. The dealership i went to was one where I bought my 2014 half ton silverado. In 10 years and 168k miles on the truck anything I needed done and two small recalls they were always very good to me. Not a huge dealer either. I think they treat people well because they want you to come back. I have dealt with a different dealer that was too big to care about an individual. Just my two cents.
    • Hi All, I operate my 2021 3500 SLT most of the time with the tailgate off and in a crate because I have a slide-in camper. However, at least once a year, I take the camper off and put the tailgate back on. Recently I installed the tailgate, but had a hard time getting the connector bail to swing to the fully latched position. The connector seems to fully seat, and everything works, but the bail doesn’t swing to fully latched position.  It swings almost there but stops and I am afraid to push it any harder.    Does anyone have any advice on cleaning or lubrication or anything else I should be doing?  i know how to properly operate the connector. During the time the tailgate and connector are off, i have a double plastic bag over the truck connector secured with rubber bands to keep it clean, but it still had some dust in it this time when I blew it out with compressed air. I didn’t want to spray it with anything other than air without doing some research. Thanks.

    • Hello @jaszr2 Do you have a link for the item? I put a replacement bumper on my truck and consequently had to relocate the shutters. I studied on them a while, and figured if you left a couple key blades, you could get most of the airflow with probably no throwing codes.
