Well then what do you mean you can't believe GMC doesn't have a version of the trail boss yet? They do. And the trail boss isn't shit anyway, we really want something like the zr2 for the 1500's I think. Not just an overpriced level kit

Go to the first post in this thread.  This whole thread is about what we are going to shown on March 26.  So far, we have only seen the SLT and Denali trims.  We haven't seen what a 2019 All Terrain or All Terrain X looks like, they haven't had their photos released.  Just like we don't know what a 2019 SLE is yet, we don't know what a 2019 AT is yet.  That's all I was saying.  I'm interested to see what the AT package is going to look like in the next  generation.  As someone who is on his second AT, I'm fully aware that it's just a package on a SLT, but that doesn't mean I'm not  curious what's on the 2019's.

A Sierra GT that's more than just spiffy wheels and fancy paint!

A high output 6.2, maybe even with a blower, 10L90, Brembos, SLIGHTLY lowered rolling on some nice 22s and HP tires.

A slightly de-tuned LT4 would slip right in! Yeah baby!!!!

^^^This  would make me SO happy! I don't understand why the don't offer some form of "sport" truck.. The Raptor is cool and all, but, seriously, who's going to take a $70k truck off-roading and beat the shit out of it? I think there's a huge potential for a "street' truck and I would definitely buy one if they would just offer it.

And a $100,000 sticker price lol

Nah - using mostly off-the-shelf components could be a under $65K pickup with some bad-a$$ performance and a genuine attitude and street cred!!

Come on GMC - build something like this and THEY WILL COME!

Off topic but I'll post  this anyway . . .

My first of many GMT800s. 1999 GMC Sierra SLE. ECSB, 5.3 (whopping 270 horse!), 4L60E, HD towing, 3.73 locker, etc. Had it tuned, AIRAID cold air package and a Flowmaster "American Thunder" cat-back system with resonator and side exit tailpipes. Quietest and least obtrusive Flowmaster system I've ever heard, just the right amount of "super car" sound. It ran pretty well for that turn first-year 5.3! Towed like a champ, too.

The tailgate decal was OEM from a mid-nineties GMC Sierra GT.

In one of those videos I've heard one of the guys saying something along the line: "...and more engines to come...".

Maybe the 3.0 inline is just for starters and they still have the 4.5 V8 up the sleeves....

so long

...was it something about 10 powertrain combos?

We only have 3 combos so far.

3 engines, each announced with one transmission.

Agreed, Even doubling that number to six (counting RWD and 4WD as unique powertrains), there should be at least two additional engine / transmission combinations.

I wonder if it isn't the GMC 4500/5500 series trucks.

Nope. We have an article coming on them today.

Whatever it is, we'll be in NYC to see what it is.

I'll be in NYC for the first weekend open to the public. I want back in a truck next year so hopefully they're all on display.

I think the Chevy 4500/5500/6500 was unveiled yesterday I saw on Chevy trucks Facebook page

I was meaning perhaps the GMC offerings of the 4/5/6 class trucks. I highly doubt it, however. I’m sure it will be the rest of the Sierra lineup. I wish they’d shed some insight on powertrain options/combos. Probably playing that one close to the chest so the current trucks keep selling.

Being there are All Terrain spy shots abound today, I'm going with GMC just showing the rest of the info and trims on the truck.  Silverado was similar, in that Texas they showed the TrailBoss, and then for NAIAS they showed all their cards.

Oh really...

Too soon for HD but who knows :dunno:

They only showed SLT and Denali, so its either the rest of the meat and potatoes (trims, engine details, etc.), or they have something up there sleeve that's completely unexpected.

Silverado was kinda similar, in that they debuted one truck/trim, then waited until NAIAS to show more info, but they still are holding out on details for the Silverado.

if I can remember correctly the current HD trucks was shown at the 2013 state fair of Texas,..... shown 10 months after the 1500 was shown late December 2012

Yeah I understand that. Maybe I misread what you said but I could've sworn you said I can't believe they don't make a trail boss version for the sierra, right? All I was saying is they freaking do and they will continue to improve on it. Of course were curious about what they're going to release next.
