I can't find it in the tuning software. I have seen posts on HPtuners that say remove the fuses. With there was a simpler way. What do you know?

Google it....super simple a collar over the steering shaft ..white that I know of, has a small plug on it.

Follow the shaft up from the ujoint towards the dash ...you will see a white plastic collar with a plug on it

Still leaves the traction control untouched, may use it as normal...

Has anyone actually unplugged the steering position sensor, and if so can you please share:

 

1- photo of the sensor and connector to unplug?

 

2- did it work and were there any other undesired effects?

Works perfectly, no adverse effects other than backup lines don't turn in your camera view.

Love it got my Chevy back!!!!

Do you need to re-calibrate anything if you plug it back in?

Just straighten your wheels so the backup lines in your camera are straight
