I picked up my new 2500 crew cab diesel on Saturday, traded in my 2016 silverado 1500 crew cab.  This is the first diesel I've personally owned, but I have years of positive experiences with other duramax equipped 2500s, a 2013, a 2017, and another 2020.  I'm looking forward to having my own.

Pic of the new rig...3500 Denali HD Duramax. I absolutely love this thing and has been my preferred driver since the day I got it. Can’t wait to start doing the mods on it. I already put a McGaughy’s Leveling Kit and new control arms on it...now looking for new wheels and shocks!

Kylant- Thanks! That’s the pic before the kit and here is one after. The kit is advertised as 2”, but the shop who did mine, dialed it in to make sure the front wasn’t higher than the back. I also replaced my control arms with McGaughy’s. Believe it or not, it drives much better now.

I traded my white 2020 HC 2500 Duramax for a 2020 Silver HC 3500 Duramax.  I had just over 40,000 miles on the 2500.  I went up one size on my tires from 285/65/20 to 295/65/20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's.  Rims are 20x9 +18.  Kept the bars stock on the 3500, just pinned back the front of the liners a bit with zip ties.  No rubbing at all.IMG_6672.thumb.jpeg.272517fb139e28626196f529a84d8af9.jpegIMG_6673.thumb.jpeg.3d60a9a0e66707ece630c51bbbabeb5b.jpeg

Thread needs a bump.

Everybody got wet and dirty yesterday. Gibby's first kill is also her first double.

Just picked up my new 2020 3500 LT crew cab gasser in Northsky Blue yesterday.  There aren't a lot of blue ones on this thread and there needs to be more.

I traded in a 2015 1500 in Rainforest Green with 121k on it.  The upgrade is for pulling a travel trailer that beat up my trans and suspension pretty bad.

Just recently bought this after getting into an accident and totaling my 2020 Silverado 1500 Trail Boss.  This one is a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 SLT with the 6.6 gas.  Im really enjoying it so far.  Getting the spray-in bed liner and tonneau cover installed this weekend.  I really am not liking the rims and tires at all.  I want to keep the suspension completely stock but would like some new rims and tires that offer a more aggressive look and are good for snow and ice (I live in Alaska).  Ill also be replacing the factory side steps with all black tubular steps.

Im considering Fuel Blitz or Warlord rims in 20x9 and Ridge Grappler, KO2's or Duratracs for tires.
