JUST got an iPhone 5. I Love it. In Manitoba we pay around $80/month for unlimited plans (MTS)... and I see $25/ month.. ugh I'd love that.

Ive had an HTC Thunderbolt then a Droid Razr, and now I have the Galaxy S3. The S3 has been the best, but the Razr isn't very far behind.

I just upgraded a week ago or so. I had the Samsung "Galaxy" Captivate w/ Gingerbread OS, but now I have the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro w/ Jelly Bean OS. So far it is worlds better than previous phone. Working GPS, better internet connectivity, 4G w/LTE, more RAM, more processor power, longer lasting battery even on heavy goof off days playing games, AND no desire to throw it out the window anymore. I stick with Android, I don't see paying the prices Apple wants for their products vs the benefits I get out of the phone. Last year I bought a new tablet since my laptop is pretty much useless for internet. Since I got this phone I only turn on the tablet just to keep the apps up to date. Haven't really needed the tablet much. Plus the phone is suppose to be rugged, water proof, blah, blah so I may actually not break it as quickly. So far I've had to use in the pouring rain and it's done great so I'm pretty happy.

I got an iPhone 5 last week. Toyed with the Android stuff but the only one that truly seemed competitive was the Galaxy SIII and its too damn big. I want a phone not a tablet.

Yeah, I searched/researched around for awhile and everyplace was pushing the SIII. I'd have to keep telling them that I'm rough on phones and I'm with you, it's WAY too big to be tote around in a uniform. So then they tell me to just get a case for it...really? So you can make it even BIGGER? So I gave up going to the stores and just started looking online exclusively. Came across the Rugby Pro and read about 1,000 reviews and it seemed to fit the bill for what I was looking for. Don't need "the best", I needed the toughest. I don't tend to drop my phone often but do see rain, dust, dirt, grease, jamming in pockets with who knows what already in there...keys, bolts, tools....

We'll see how it works out. After all it's under warranty for a year, plus I pay for the insurance so I "should" be covered if something serious were to happen.

The Razr-M is similar in size/features to the iPhone 5.

I was very dissatisfied with my Droid X, I'm through with Motorola phones.

My wife is still getting used to hers but I can tell she is really liking it. Mostly because every time I try to talk to her she's buried in a game, book, email, movie, etc, etc, etc....lol

Still love my iPhone4S just wish it didn't need to be charged all the time. Now I have 2 to deal with, one specifically to be carried for work, and my personal phone. PITA carrying 2 phones around all the time now. So much for the Govt. cuts, they just got us new iPhones!!!

apple all the way for me. i had a 3g for 2 1/2 years and upgraded to a 4 and goin on my 2nd yr with it. the only way i'll take em now is if i can jailbreak em. i don't like the droid os

My first smartphone was a Motorola CliqXT. After my daughter messed it up I downgraded to a dumbphone for a year or so before getting my current Galaxy Prevail. I liked some features of the Cliq better, but honestly the Prevail is good enough for me. I'm familiar with Android and like its format, and all the bells and whistles that many smartphones have are all but useless to me. I like something small and simple that I can still browse the web with.
