Thats what I was thinking. The second might be a fuel pump. by the looks of the lines and wiring. Be eazy to change out if thats it. Guy I work with just had his in tank pump changed out. The labor is what kills you.

Wish the undercarriage stayed that nice for more than 2 days up here in the northeast ...

The part with all the wires/lines is the ABS module. The low pressure pump will most likely be in-tank still. Pumps push better than they pull I've always been told.

The part on the frame?

Yes Joe_K you are correct that the "Fuel Module" has a huge spring that sits underneath the fuel module and follows a lobe.PSI injector rail pressure is set at 2175 psi.The main reason also for the injectors to be raised was for acoustics. The injector pressure is reduced to 1450 psi,at firing cycle. It is a single high output fuel system. Also is responsible for maintaining rail pressure as well. Also curious about the new E92 Engine controller.

Well looks like yet another expensive tool for us to buy. Wonder what 1,400 psi would do to my gauge? :noway:

GM hasn't had a test port on the fuel rails in ages so no worries.

So how the hell are you supposed to check pressure on these technological wonders now?

Probably the new money making standard of having to take it to the dealer.

I hear ya - yet another reason I'll never buy a new one.
