Design appearance of the trailer mirrors don't mean a damn when you're trailering, how is the visability? The utility lighting and cameras are the other big pluses.

 

GM, quit putting standard mirrors on truck set up with trailering packages, like you did with my NHT.

The 2019 1500 T1 production trucks have the mirrors mounted to the doors also.

Oh no I was referring to the over all design, I know either way it’s going to be mounted on the door like so but the mirror size and shape itself is what I hope changes

I love the mirror location, always prefered them slightly lower on the door.  A squarebody enhancement.  Now bring back the SFA.

I have a feeling those are going to be the production mirrors, with a power slide mechanism. Notice how some of the mirrors are slid out past the horizontal arm.

Seems like this is their answer to power fold/power extend tow mirrors.

 

Too bad they look like dodge mirrors flipped up.
