The back on the RST is already LED... Not sure about the other models. The reverse lights are not though.... I replaced them as well with these:  https://www.vleds.com/921-36-w-5500k.html

How is the backup camera doing with those?

On the Colorados, some people have noticed camera flicker when they put LEDs in the reverse lights - presumably because of refresh rate flicker.

No issues... Much easier to see at night, but no other issues. Is there something to be looking for?

Just installed these in the turn signals of my LTZ.    Looks much better and brighter than regular bulbs.   As stated so per easy to change.

Just installed the Amazon ones recommended. Much better. Left is the original halogen, right is the LED. I'm sure it looks much better at night too.

I ordered a pair of amber LED's for the front turn signals and they came today. They are much brighter than the bulbs, better color and no hyper flash or codes...

Why GM didn't go this route with the RST is beyond me... A major upgrade...

Here is the link to the ones I got :

Thinking about doing this for mine. Just wanted to check with to see that youve had no hyper flash or issues with these a few months later?

Thanks

No issues whatsoever. Just far better looking turn signals ;)

The non-LED turn signals are really one of the weakest points on the lighting game of these trucks. It's crazy how weak the light is on them, IMO.

Also, I don't like how GM (on the Chevys at least) kind of "hid" the turn signal from the side with that side air curtain design. I love the design in general, but I am a lot more cautious changing lanes on the multi-lane interstates around DFW because I feel side traffic cannot see your turn signal at ALL.

Andy, any update on your LED bulbs? The ones you link to here on Amazon are out of stock.

I bought these, but they hyperflash on me:

ANTLINE Extremely Bright 7443... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P9T7D1W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I just ordered these for my 19 Trail Boss Custom.

I will provide an update once they arrive and I get them installed!

Yeah, let us know.

I’m skeptical they will work for you, after reading this in the item description. This is basically what mine said, too.

I’m wondering if the lights with many more diodes on them keep it from hyper flashing, as they use more juice?

Agreed.  They all say that in the description unless they have built in resistors.  I’m banking on the fewer diode part as well.  I’ve now changed low beam, high beam, reverse and license plate to LED with no problems.  I will spend the money to find a good alternative for the turn signals.  Should have these by installed by early next week or sooner.

I am on two months with my front LEDs with absolutely no issues. Apparently your mileage may differ...
