If you ask gm none of them shake/vibrate. Was told by dealer yesterday tech didn't feel anything. I guess I have imagined my trucks vibration.

All depends on the dealer, My original say then know nothing about it, havn't found any with it, and couldn't replicate it in my truck. I went to another dealer and they admitted to it, immediately felt it, and tried to fix it.... unsuccessfully, but they tried.

Original dealer stated they didn't feel it but it registered enough on pico that they replaced rear tire. This was the second time the tire was replaced. The first time was due to bad rf numbers. They acknowledged it both times. After telling them it still shakes they said nothing else they can do as they can not replicate at interstate speed as they have no interstate access. Essentially told me to take to another dealer. I did and no vibration per them but I highly doubt pico scope was hooked up. It's just frustrating to pay 500 plus a month for a product that doesn't perform as it should. Actually last dealer told me they felt it when in V4 mode. Said that was normal lol. Anyway rant over. I typically don't drive on the highway with the windows down because I don't like the wind noise, but there is a weird pressurization type of thing with them down., maybe a little worse than other cars in my opinion, but I can't say for sure. never noticed any change in vibration from it.

FWIW, Crack the rear windows a little and the buffeting sound disappears.

If I have the windows down, I normally have all 4 down to the same level

That is an interesting read, just one note, my second 2014 had the factory Borla exhaust option.

I have my vehicle in for the second service regarding this issue today past the Pico scope and they tell me at the vibration that they admit they feel is within normal means when the video that I have clearly shows otherwise I took both the service manager and the foreman for a ride they both can feel the vibration the foreman will admit it the service manager says he doesn't feel anything out of the ordinary that sets it apart from any other truck I'm at a loss at this point because they aren't willing to go any further with it being as it passed the test the truck is a 2015 Silverado LTZ 20 inch wheels with 8 thousand miles.

Read between the lines of what the service manager said.

 

He can honestly say he does not feel anything that sets it apart from the other trucks they have had on the lot.

go to a different dealer. or wait a month then go back and say it got worse

Just to offer a ray of hope, my 70-75MPH vibration has been fixed and after 5000 miles is still vibration free. My fix was two steps; torque factory U bolts to 80 ft-lbs, and then balance tires. The U bolts resolved about 80% of my vibration and the tire balance resolved the remainder. I know there seems to be different causes of the vibration, but I can report my truck is now very smooth, so at least some cases can be fixed. My truck is a 15 double cab, 4x4, z71 with 20 inch wheels.

already had the U-bolts checked as there was also a service recall for them not being tight enough on many trucks.

Ok guys here is an odd one, when I bought my 2015 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Z71 with 18" wheels it rode like butter and smooth as silk.

 

Now at 28,000 miles it rides like a tank and has a fairly good shake that I can't get rid of.

 

Do you think it is the U-Joints?

At 28000 miles it could be anything.... probably totally unrelated to this thread lol. You could have a strut or shock bad, tire balance problems, wheel bent, sticky u joints etc. If it rides different you probably need shocks and struts... yes 28000 miles is pathetically early but the factory parts aren't exact top quality lol.

      Why don't I have a good scanner? I've always wanted one when I've needed one.   My latest reading says I don't need to do a relearn on the ckp sensor on a 1995 with OBD 1.5. The relearn is prescribed for the later-model 1995's which shipped with actual OBD II when GM completed the transition in prep for the 1996 MY. I need to confirm that. Did you know forums are disappearing? Knuckleheads on Facebook... it's not the same. It's just not.   So, scanners. Again, shooting myself in the foot for having eBayed my Snap On MT2500 "brick" with all the adapters. Not that I couldn't buy another but those are getting quite old, and mine wasn't new enough to work on 2000's vehicles.   Damn it (as I'm scanning my email between paragraphs here). Did you know there's a 2000 Jimmy 2-door on BaT that's ending this morning? It's local. I want it. 14k miles. Absolutely beautiful.   Back to scanners. MT2500's are old. Solus, now that could be a contender. There's a ~2008 Verus with a system error that's basically new in box for cheap. Hmm...I'm not sure about a scanner that runs an archaic version of windows (95 or CE, I can't tell).   I want the ability to reset and rotate TPMS, test individual modules, bleed ABS, electronic parking brake controls for servicing brakes, relearn procedures and other bidirectional controls.   Snap On does an MT2600. It's a new model as of last year, marketed as their "entry" scanner. Entry? Only where $1900 gets you through the doorway plus, I'm guessing, $1000/year if you wish to keep it current. So goes scan tools actually designed for production environments. Want decent products with excellent support, you pay for it.   Everyone is raving about Autels and TopDons and Foxconns and all these newer brands that are selling the $500 "prosumer" scanners for backyard hacks like me. They're tempting...honestly. Updates are cheaper, base prices are remarkably cheaper... And you get to deal with bugs and translation whoopsies and, well, just don't use it on anything expensive, OK? Having a dealer replace an ECU because it needs to be re-imaged after an adventure in scanning is no joke. But I think most people are getting by OK with these units.   eBay on a scratch-and-sniff pro-model oldie, a shiny new TopDon, or???   God dang it, I can't stop looking at this Jimmy. I'm ready! I'll Bring The TRailer! It's beautiful.

      I removed the OE running boards.  It looked so much better.  I wish I took them off a long time ago.     I had to put something back on for my wife.  I wanted Westin Sure Grip Running Boards but they are very pricey, like $600 plus.  I was going to go with the Ionic 41's like I had on the 2019 Silverado but went with Westin Outlaw Drop Steps instead, about $200 cheaper.  They are sturdy and functional but not super crazy about the look, but it works.
