Intellilink MyLink Open Source Software, Apps, etc

so these trucks with Intellilink and mylink are supposed to have open source software systems.why are there not people making cool third party apps for these trucks?

I would really like to just have a screen saver or something. It gets kinda boring with all that real estate.

I just registered as a GM Developer, I am going to try to make an app that will display real-time engine data on the Info screen.  I'll post back once I've got something working.

I’d pay $$ for something like that, no reason you can’t have a customizable screen with favorites.  I’d really like to see an update to allow wireless carplay.

I think Auto Meter had something like that but it was basically an OBDII reader that showed up in the DIC. I also wish there was such an app that would show all that data on the radio screen.
