Heated seats not very warm

I'd say mine take at least 10 minutes before I notice they're on. After 20 minutes, they're pretty warm, and I usually turn them down.

I've got a 14 with the heated & cooled leather. Last winter the butt wasn't getting hot, got it fixed under warranty. This winter my back has completely stopped working so I'll be taking it back in. Not impressed with the quality of these heated seats.

 

Truck only has 47xxx kms (23xxx miles)

They do not warm up like the older trucks. My 2006 seats are hot within 1 mile, my 2014 takes 20 minutes before getting warm. That is while driving and after the truck has warmed up for 20 minutes. My 2006, 2008 and 2010 all had much better seats. All leather with heat but not cooling same as this one. They are getting worse every year....

My 2005 colorado with leather warms up about 183639202 times faster then my 2014 silverado..... Granted i do have cloth seats so thats what i thought it was.

My heated seats are the poorest performing heated seats I have ever had on a vehicle, and I've had at least a dozen cars with heated seats. They take 10-15 minutes to fully heat up and once they do, the warming sensation is weak. These are the leather heated and cooled seats. The cooling function works very well.

My seats get almost to warm. They heat up pretty fast. But I do have cloth int. I'm very pleased with them. 15 Sierra SLE.

There is a forum already discussing this. All leather seats with cooled and heated seats suck at heating. There has been a design change with the new trucks in 2014. I understand the 2015 suck too. Haven't heard about the 16 yet. I have a 14 Denali. Yup they suck big time . Taken back to the dealer and they say "working as designed". My 09 Denali was great.

I have a 15 Sierra and a relative with a Yukon Denali. I helped her pick the Yukon out, and she noticed how bad it suck when we test drove it at the dealer. Not a deal

Breaker, but my 2005 Yukon cl is as hot as the sun

I just got my 2014 Silverado LTZ back from the dealership for defective front seat heaters. Both driver and passenger died. I waited a week to get it fixed. The seats work great now! I hope it lasts.

My '15 get hot in a short amount of time if I'm in it. You can't keep it on high for long. Unless your neck'ed Ha-Ha.

My seats are usually hot within 5 minutes of driving and I have to turn them down or off. I have found that it really depends on what you're wearing too. If I'm wearing thick jeans and a jacket, I don't feel them much. If I come out of the gym wearing sweats, the seats get way too hot.

My 16 heats much quicker than the 15.

 

(16's no longer have the vents in the back and no longer offer cooling - they are heated and ventilated only)

Seats in my 15 take forever to heat up. I only have a 15 minute max commute and they're usually getting warm about the time I take the exit off ramp.

Same for me. Or maybe thats just when i notice that my butt is on fire and need to turn it down.

 

I rent a lot of 2015 Tahoes/Yukons and every one of those is about the same as my truck - takes a good few minutes to get going then its ass fire from then on.
