Issues with texting and mylink

2015 ltz z71, normally the truck will read or display text from my phone just fine, but when I get group messages or media, it will read through all of the coding of the message, for 5 minutes. Does anyone else have this problem? I have an android phone, maybe I need a new text app?

Same issue. Haven't found a solution but if you hit the cancel call button on your wheel it stops the code readout.

Weird. I have to hit the hands free button and then the cancel button for it to stop.

Not just android issue, iPhone 6 does same thing.

Anyone get anywhere with this? Really getting annoying.

My screen will not display a text message that was typed in by the sender, but will read it out loud. If it is sent as a voice message instead, it reads it out loud and displays the printed version on the screen.
