New to the forums but thought I would start a build log. I recently purchased a 2016 GMC Denali 1500 with the 6.2L motor. I just dropped it off today for the lift kit, wheels, and tires.

Current Mods:

20% Tinted front window to match

White front and rear GMC emblems

In Progress:

6" Fabtech Lift

20x10 -24 offset Moto Metal MO970 wheels

35x12.50R20 Nitto Trail Grapples

Future Mods:

Bushwacker Fender Flares painted to match (waiting on them to release White Frost Tricoat)

Either Diablosport Intune or BB tune

Bak Revolver X2 cover

Dropping it off for the lift:

More pictures will definitely be coming. I am hoping to pick it up Wednesday or Thursday. Apparently they got 3 out of 4 wheels in and one is back ordered til then.

I went with the Gen 2 kit. I liked that the Gen 2 stated it did not widen factory track width, also I didn't really wanna go the slight rake route of the add a leaf.

Small update. I got a call from the guys putting the lift on and he wanted to trade the wheels off my truck for a Bak Revolver X2. Seemed like a fair enough deal to me so looks like that gets moved up on the time line.

I was gonna go that route as well but I did the zone 6.5 and am running spacers in the rear. It's gonna look awesome man here's mine with the same tires you are getting post-146784-145686396589_thumb.jpg

Yeah man I'm ready. That is one sweet looking ride. Curse the delivery gods for making me wait, lol.

Ok guys so here she is. I was also able to get a Bak Revolver X2 installed and get a Diablo Sport I2030 tuner. I will be waiting to tune until I get the magnetic ride censors re-calibrated next Friday.

Bushwacker is saying they will have rivet style pocket fender flares available next week. Now the questions becomes do I go black flares or have them color matched white frost. This truck is becoming my new addiction, lol.

Had the dealer re-calibrate the magnetic ride sensors today and it seems to made a good bit of difference. I can actually tell now when the suspension adjust. It's still not factory ride but much better. I also dropped in the i2030 tuner today with the 93 octane tune. The power seems to be improved and not switching back and forth to v4/v8 is nice. Loving the speedometer being correct as well. Now just can't wait for diablo to update the tunes so that it can tune the transmission.
