And you will need your 'order number', which is likely a series of LETTERS.....

Thanks, I'll have to get that. All I have is a BAC number and a Allocation Group number.

I am debating between loaded AT4 vs Denali Ultimate in red Quartz.

I really like the substitution of the black for the chrome.

The LCD dash is no longer a Denali only feature.

"Leather appointed rear seat" is the only difference in content I have found.

Anyone have any input?

Best part it is about $1100 cheaper MSRP

Was thinking the exact same thing as you.  I liked the black grill.  In the end i decided to just go with the Denali since that is my current truck and didn't want to take a step backwards.  Duramax, Pacific Blue - just pulled the trigger on Friday - Dealer says should arrive about mid August.  Super excited.

Mid August and you just ordered it Friday? That seems pretty fast, 8 weeks for build time and delivery. GM must be putting in some overtime

That is great.

Talked to dealer today and said they had notification ours was built but still figured it would be end of August before it got here.

They were able to slip it into their build quota order that was alotted to them for dealer stock.

Ahh that makes more sense. I wonder what the delivery time would be if I placed an order this week. I know GM just invested $150million into the plant that builds the HDs so they could push out an extra 40k trucks this year

I also ordered a Denali Friday. I to prefer the AT4 grill but prefer the Denali seats. I also prefer the 5 or 6 spoke polished aluminum wheels, for easy cleaning.

But they will all be easily changed in do time.

I hope the 8 weeks is close !!

Good luck all

Ordered my Chevy Ltz first week of June and was just given build date of July 24.

rookie question, but is the build date the start of the build or the finished build date? and then it's at least another week or two for delivery right?

TPW is 'Tentative Production Week'.

And is given as the first day of the week.  Build could be anyday, but since it is 'tentative'. it could also be an earlier or later week.

It's given so dealer has a 'rough idea' of when it will be built.

Chevy site gave me TPW of 6/22. Dealer called  and said it scheduled for 6/24 build. Dealer did also say that could change and he would keep me posted. Not sure how long it will take to get here all depends on shippers. I order a car once and it sat in a yard 2 hrs from me for two weeks before it was picked up and delivered to dealer.

I'm hoping that the $150 million invest GM just made into that planet speeds up the build time a little. But depending on where you are in the country delivery times could be weeks. West coast will likely see anywhere from 2-3 week delivery times on these orders. The last truck I ordered was a 2010 Ford Raptor and that took 2.5-3 months from order to delivery. The cool thing was they had a website where you could track the progress of the build.

My AT4 3500 was assembled on 3 June and has just been released to a carrier a couple of days ago.  Good luck with yours ~ you would think GM would have a site similar to Fords to better or more accurately track our vehicles.  I ordered my 2017 HC 3500 ~ no change since 17.  Only exception was my Z06, I took delivery 11 days after the build and was notified when the vehicle was enroute from the factory.
