No you don't.... Look into an Advent OGM1, you can thank me later. (Assuming you have a GMT-900 and not a classic)

Agreed. Look into my post as I am selling my OGM1...truly plug-n-play and hands down the best Nav system out there...don't take my word though...everyone on this board agrees! Selling cause I am selling truck...shoot me a PM if interested.
