Just installed the diablo 91 octane tune, drove my 150+ miles and sent my data log to Diablolew (monte). Got my first street tune back and installed. First impression: Well worth the coin!! torque management, shift points are so much better than stock!

I've been searching, but haven't seen much talk about programmers on the 2014's....is this cause of warranty issues or what? I saw a few guys mention getting custom tunes, but I was actually just going to get the Hypertech speedometer calibrator for new larger tires, but for another $100 its almost a no brainer to get a programmer even though I'm not really looking to go changing anything crazy. Anybody out there have experience with any of these?

KUUG is right, it's a warranty killer. There is a user on here who's dealer gave him one of those hypertech speedo calibraters, I'm wondering if the dealer is able to get around the GM warranty issue, I really can't imagine them not being able to. I would call your dealers around you until you can find one that willing to put it in and stand behind warranty. It's worth a try.

Thanks. I was only searching in the 2014 section of the forum originally, but have found a lot more now. I guess I have to decide whether I'm going to tune mine or not now to potentially kill warranty.

I did a little scanning today (finally had dry roads so I could go WOT). I noticed at WOT my TPS % stays at 84%. Anybody else with the 6.2 notice this or is it just me? In the old days I'd start looking for a mechanical issue, but on these things....

You need to log ETC%...

GM views SAE TPS in raw voltage and when your TPS sensor is at WOT it's probably only at 84% of 5v which is learned by ECM as WOT.

Just log ETC% or other ETC PID's which will make it easier to relate to.

I purchased my SLT new with a lift and oversize rubber, they included the programmer which they used to reprogram the speedo. I signed a contract with the warranty.

That's good to hear...

My brother in law just purchased a new 4 door Jeep Wrangler and the dealer already used a Superchips programmer to recalibrate his speedo. I wonder if it really came down to it, if they would still honor the warranty or find some loophole or another way around it.

Is there a programmer out there that I can change the stabilatrack to stay off when I switch it off. Also I've been seeing some real bad shifts into second. Both up and down. Would a programmer fix this or is it just this transmission they put in these things?

I've learned so much from reading this thread and I will probably be getting a custom tune somewhere down the line. But with that being said, does anyone know the simplest way to remove the limiter or at least raise it? We have 140 on the dash, but can't go past 98. Sucks.

Diablo intune or diablo trinity?

I think they both pretty much of the same thing but I am not sure, any thoughts? The trinity does have a nice looking LCD screen and cost quite a few bucks more. So , what to do?

I've got the intune, I had no need for the trinity. I bought mine from Diablew, he does custom road tuning specific to your vehicle. So far I am pleased, there are others out there but I have no experience with them.

I've been working with Lew on a custom diablo tune, just thought I would share my experience.

First off Lew (diablew, montess) has been great thru this entire process. My truck runs so much better and it feels like I have an entirely different tranny. As many of you are aware, I got fuct on a muffler install, but have since removed the third cat, installed a Magnaflow 14" muffler, all with three inch piping. IMO, she sounds fing awesome and with Lew's street tune, runs amazing!

I still have some wide open throttle data sessions to record and I should be good to go.

I was on the fence on what to do, hp tuners, blackbear, trifecta, diablew, etc... I'm pleased with who I picked.

For those who are considering a tune, Lew comes with my highest recommendation.

In time I'd like to give HP tuners software a try, I just wasn't ready to dedicate the time.
