You can get the old jump seat out and put a full console in without removing either seat in a RCSB. I did it this past weekend to make sure I really wanted to make the swap and wanted both seats in to see how it looked. I'm 59 years old and not as "flexible" as I used to be, but it was not difficult at all.

I put the jump seat back in after taking a couple of pictures. Phil's video makes the removal and installation simple.

My plug and play harness from Phil is on the way as are cables and side panels from another source, so I'll repeat the process again when all of the parts come in.

That looks really nice.It looks like I have the same interior as you.Im in the process of trying to figure out everything I need for this upgrade. What exactly was included with your console.Also is the trim on your console the “synthesis”. I believe that is what I have.

I got my console off of a local Craigslist add so I had no choice in trim color or options. It has the wireless charging lid but I don't have a compatible phone. It didn't come with the side panels but neither do the new ones. For $275.00 I couldn't pass it up.

One mistake I did make was cleaning it and wiping it down with a vinyl protectant before the test installation. Looks good but it's a bit difficult to hold on to !

So I copied this from one of Phil's posts on page 36.....I think. This is what I used to order my parts. You want black and Synthesis, then get a harness from Phil. I Make sure you inspect your console good, mine was cracked and I am trying to get it worked out but GMPartsGiant.com is not being very helpful. I am going to dispute the CC charge today and see if that gets there attention.

I spoke Julio who is a manager in the RMA department about 1:30 today. Before 2:00 I received an email with a new sales order for a new console to be shipped to me a shipping label to return the old damaged unit.
