@pgamboa  Phil, have you found any info for the mat on this wireless charging pad?  I pulled mine out as I found the better charger on ebay and it came with "YOUR" charging cable.  Or, I'm assuming it was your cable.  I'm trying to find the proper pad, without any luck.  I contacted GMPartsDirect and no response at all.  I wish the mat was raised up some instead of sitting so low as if you have a phone case, it can cause problems for sitting flat.  Mine just barely gets charge due to the case.  Realistically there are cheaper wireless chargers that work even better and cost a lot less.  I'm trying to use this one built in and then a USB one for my other phone.  The USB one picks up quick and is fast charging, while this one links slowly and takes some time to charge.

Any thoughts anyone?

This is the second one I use in my truck.  It's only $18.99

Hi I would like to purchase your plug and play harness for my 2017 chevy 3500. I have purchased a brand new floor console from a Chevy dealer which has two USB ports (not 3) on the front drivers side of the console.

Let me know what other information you require and how I go about paying you etc..

Thanks

Simon

Simon,

Send me a PM. I’m making a batch of these this weekend with plans to ship on Monday.

Thanks.

Hello, thanks for your time, do you make a harness to add a hdmi to the center console rear controls? My 16 Yukon Denali has a usb and rca connects for the RES but need a hdmi connector. I see the 18 Escalade has hdmi added from factory. Any way to convert usb to hdmi  or add it in that section?

I do not. That rear panel has more to it than what most would expect. That HDMI Input relies on the the Aux #2 input ingest that occurs through the DVD Player. So if you don’t have the DVD player, I’m not sure how you would ingest that signal. Also, there is a different USB cable routing that is needed.

Thanks for the response, I do have the dvd player as part of the rear entertainment system. I was hoping you had some positive experience with it. I know there is a lot going on in that space. I was thinking it could have been an easy swap (usb for hdmi) out. Nothing can be that easy I am learning.

It looks like the same size rectangle input and control panel from my 16 as it is on the new with added hdmi input the same controls and other inputs on it now. Maybe I can dealer buy that new panel and harness and swap it out. Dvd player and screen is the same. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will be an easy swap. Not.

MVI (www.gm-navigation.com) sells an HDMI input that you splice into the RCA input wires.  I have it in my Silverado and works great for gaming consoles, Fire Stick, etc.  Once installed, you just select the Auxiliary source since pre 2017 models don't have the HDMI input from the factory.  The 2017+ also lose the SD card input but gain an additional USB input.  Swapping harness won't be PNP from what I've been told.  Installing this is the easiest route.

Thanks for the help. That won't work on the rear on my center console but it just might on the inside of my console has a couple of extra 12v outlets and usb ports. Hopefully they are connected to the input side for the rear screen and not for charging only. I am thinking that only the usb on the rear console and the hidden space usb input are actually connected to the dvd player front and rear screen.

@STEVEN A.  It may fit where the 12v plug-in is on the rear, I assume it would anyways.  The USB port that is part of the HDMI plug is wired into that anyways so it becomes a charging/power port.

Thank You! Good point, I could loose that 12v outlet for the hdmi and always use that usb for power and I still have the 120v outlet below it.  Later today, when my daughter brings my truck back I will post a picture of the back of my console so you can see what I am dealing with.  I am needing this hdmi for my Grandkids to play their video games on instead of a tablet.
