The new design direction for the Buick brand been unveiled. This is the 2015 Avenir Concept.

Avenir is french for "future", which is exactly where this car looks like it came from. Buick is hoping this flagship sedan concept will pave the way for the luxury brand.


Notable features and information about the 2015 Buick Avenir Concept:

  • Uses a new tri-color Buick Insignia [red, silver, blue]
  • A new modern Buick grille with wing-shaped elements
  • Driver recognition features to sync vehicle preferences
  • Seating for four

  • Full LED exterior lighting

  • 21-inch wheels

  • Next generation direct injected V6 engine with Active Fuel Management

  • Nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift

  • Twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system

  • Ionic cabin filtration

  • Wireless mobile device charging

  • OnStar 4G with Wifi

  • Interior design inspired by sea waves receding on a beach

  • Device integration technologies, including home integration (accessing securty cameras or turning on/off lighting)
