4.3 V6, 3.42, 4x4.... Kinda wish I had gotten the 5.3 but, I've driven them both and without a trailer hooked up its hard to tell the difference.

The 9,200 lb towing ability and the 1,850 lb payload capacity are good for my long term needs.

Without any payload, I'd feel confident hauling 7k - 8K up into the mountains.

I have a 2015 C1500 5.3L flex fuel DC w/3.73, 6 speed (Max tow). It took 6 month for me to receive this truck from GM.
