I think it’s awesome. I love the exhaust. I see no resemblance to ford, Ram or Toyota. Just because it has an embossed tailgate doesn’t mean it looks like a tundra. Geez.
I want powertrain details!! Love it though!

Haven't even driven on them and already knocking them, guess some people just follow an uninformed preconceived notion...

Yeah uninformed notion right... Lets forget about all the OEM and aftermarket rancho shocks that I've thrown away over the years due to early failure and poor performance. Rancho's are Walmart/Autozone junk, rather overpriced junk at that. Before anyone goes on about how they are supposed to be stiffer than the basic shocks, I am aware of that, that's not the type of performance I'm talking about. Fox, Bilstein, or king far out perform rancho. And if I'm paying extra money for an "off road" package I expect to not have to replace the shocks of that package. This Trailboss is built factory with a 2" lift, you'd think they would really want to wow us and maybe bring the Multimatic DSSV shocks from the ZR2, but no they slapped on a set of doomed to fail and underperform ranchos. It truly is disappointing...

Less Uninformed, more not naive...

Now even more girly to match the shift knob. Fiat has really F'ed that truck up...

No bow tie out back.

Maybe? Since it is the trail boss edition maybe the other trims will have it?  I believe on the camo'd version they covered something in the area of a rear emblem; might have been a decoy though.

1) The new Silverado looks OK, I'll buy one in a few years..

2) That ram, looks REALLY BAD......

The only things that will get me to buy this new truck are adaptive cruise control and true keyless entry with push to start.

yeah, but what about the turn knob style shifter?  It's getting one too :(  Just like what is on the RAM now.

Beats the hell out of a floor shifter. It is an automatic, you touch it 3 times (P to R to D to P). Don't need a stupid bulky floor shifter taking up space that is much better used for storage. I would prefer a column but anything other than a floor shift. Buttons in the overhead console would be sweet, who doesn't love overhead switches? They use buttons in some GMC's.

By the looks of this sh!t, I'll never get another truck!

Who buys based on looks? It is a truck, the looks should be the last thing on the menu. Anyone who buys a truck based on looks when another choice is is better suited for their needs is well...

Unfortunately keyless entry is in everything these days so it is going that way, they have to accommodate the women with purses. I hate having stuff in my pockets when I am sitting, especially keys. Anytime I drive a keyless car I have to find a space to put the keys (or just let the old lady keep them in her purse the entire time, would rather they just leave the keyed ignition as that is a perfect place for them; but some people think it isn't "luxurious enough" in a truck like the German luxury they came from and scream for it. Ah well.

I will say the one gizmo I would like on my next truck is the adaptive cruise (just please don't tie it to only trucks with pleather seats). I use my cruise all the time and it bugs me to no end when people speed up or slow down and I constantly have to turn it off and on. Had that option as well in the Volvo rental as well as a few others, such a nice feature. Don't care about it steering for me though.

Pretty sure these trucks will have all that stuff this go around, just don't give it massaging seats, save some dignity for the owners.

Ugh did they confirm that? I sure hope thats not the case, I was under the impression from some of the spi photos that the column shifter was staying for the 19's. If GM has been listening at all to the consumer input they will have kept the column shift, I have yet to meet a GM truck owner who would wish away their column shift for a rotary dial.

Well you got your round wheel wells. Are you happy? They look like crap.

Wish-list: 1) Complete and total redesign to not look like a Fordyota, epic fail. Round wells and front facia ruin it for me. I was ecstatic about the 2014's design and still am. 2) No drivers "aids" or at least the ability to turn them off, like actually for realz though. 3) No vibration 4) Headlights that work, I cant see those little cubes even performing as good as the current models. 5) A true street truck version with a 7L or LT4. 6) Plastic bed liner. 7) Higher quality leather. 8) Fox coil-overs for the All Terrain. 9) And last but not least someone that has tuned a transmission before, or at least unlock the TCM so it can be tuned by someone that knows what they are doing. These transmissions are great probably some of the best in the segment, however the tuning is the worst in the industry by far which makes for an annoying shifting experience at times. If they put over a million test miles on the last generation and didn't solve these issues, they better put 2 million on this generation. Currently it seems like we are just getting a body redesign, and I am not a fan of it so I will probably play with my 15 6.2L for another 6 years and drive winter junkers.
