OK, short and sweet: Ken Lingenfelter just bought this '83 Buick Wagon. (That's news, right?) Thumbs up or down?  Judge it on face value, and then click this if you want to learn a bit more about it.

Thumbs down, my choice 94-96 caprice wagon LT1.

If it's a stock '83 drivetrain, NO.  If it has an '86-'87 Grand National like drivetrain than YES, I'll take it.

Nevermind, I read the little article.  Probably not.

I like to see a bit more underhood pics but yeah....if I had a spare 10 grand laying around I'd buy it.

Looks great. Colors are real close to the '89 Pontiac Bonneville SSE I just bought. No shiny trim anywhere. All black. A simple stripe down the side adds a lot visually. I used a black over gold stripe as the side moldings are black with a narrow gold stripe. I'm sure the power train works well. Plenty strong. Were it mine and I didn't have the 455 to use, I'd lean toward a lighter combination. Not criticizing. Just my preference. Good job.

Thumbs up, any big block works in most anything for me including a  old wagon. I think my last 455 was in a Buick wagon. Sure brings back some memories. Ah, a 455 producing about 200 hp, the late seventies and eighties were not good times for stock factory power.
