POST PICTURES OF YOUR BODY LIFTS (2014+)

Recommended Posts

Your truck looks bad ass, after seeing your truck with the 305's and some negative offset, now I have to get bigger tires, I hope the 305 65 18's I'm looking at clear.

I founda post where someone is running 305/65r18s BFG KOs on a 2" level with very minor rubbing. If the KO2s run similar in size, you should be fine with the extra BL. Hurry up and get yours so I can see!

I'm accepting donations, lol. Going to look into it at the end of March when I get back from vacation and see how bad the damage to my bank account is after 10 days in Costa Rica

Make sure you post your TGs here when you get 'em!

And some pics of the truck with the 305/65R18s. I've been searching the net and can't find anyone running them on 2014+ with a level. Seems like the perfect tire for 4" of total lift.

Sorry it took a couple days to get back on. With y'all guys info I ended up going with the trail grappler 295/75 and couldn't be happier. Got them mounted yesterday and as z71 Chevy said there is a little rub at full lock on the sway bar. I went ahead and took a couple pics of my seat covers too. Also, the truck running the 305's I met at the deer processor just passing through. I didn't know him personally, sorry.

Hey guys just noticed today when checking fluids there's a ground strap on the rear corner of the engine drivers side that might need to be relocated with the body lift. Mine has been on along time with no issues but I noticed this strap is stretched tight and the stud is almost ripped out of the firewall I'm going to relocate it when I get a chance but wanted to mention it for those that might be installing and those already installed may want to check let me know if anyone else has this issue so we can let zone know to include it with instructions unless I missed something lol

Do you mean 295/70R18 Nitto Trail Grapplers?

Is it the sidewall of the tire hitting the swaybar, or the knobs of the tread? I'm assuming it's due to the section width of the tire...the "bulge", rather than anything to do with the height, so I wonder if the BL helped you any with that tire size? I think you would have that rub with or without the BL.

Just like Z71-Chevy, you could probably use a small spacer to push out the tire a little and cure the rub...probably a +18 or 0 offset.

The section width of my 275/65 Nittos are 10.98" and when I put a bungee on my steering wheel to hold it locked, I have 3/4" or more clearance between the tire and the swaybar. 295/70s are ~11.75". That's less than an inch total wider, so if you split that in half, I should have 1/4" clearance at the swaybar....but y'all are saying it's rubbing. Makes no sense (mathematically)!!

Perfect height in my opinion.

I've watched the youtube video on how to install a BL on these trucks and they show an extension for a ground strap being installed. Did your kit not come with a ground strap extension?
