Man! These tires suck!

I agree that they are horrible. Told my wife I wanted to get new tires and she said I should talk to the deal about them. I just laughed at her...what are they going to do. I want to go bigger any ways but just sad that they put such terrible tires one from the factory. We spend enough on these trucks they should at least come with decent tires...especially when you buy one with the Z71 package. Guess it's just time to level and get bigger tires.

I'll be getting rid of them soon. I like Michelin. I'm looking hard at the M/S 2s or the Defenders. Whatever I buy will be a lot better than what I have.

This reminds me of Liberals calling everything assault weapons. It's sorta true, but not really. I mean if you use a weapon on someone, isn't it an assault regardless? Goodyear, get your sh!t together. lol

My nephew put some Federal Courigas on stock rims 33x12.50xr20 on his stock Ram. They looked good. Not sure they would fit on the Silverados. He says they are not too loud or rough. Again, not me saying this, just passing along the info.

I am having the same issues. 11,000 miles and slipping in rain already. I complained to Goodyear and they inspected the tires. Gave me an offer on a set of All Terrain Adventures for $519 to replace my old tires. Trying to decide if I want to stay with Goodyear or get something else

Same here, got $70/tire against purchase of BFG T/a KO2's, probably could have gotten more selling privately, but just wanted to get rid of those awful tires ASAP!!!!

The SRA have to be the worst tires ever made.

For all the reasons posted above, plus my own terrible experiences with them years ago on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I will even buy another vehicle if the SRA's are on it from the factory. I made sure my 2010 came with the Bridgestone Duelers. They are not really a great tire but they were a heck of a lot better than those sorry GoodYears that's for sure.

For the price of these trucks, they should come equipped with a real AT tire, not what GM and other manufacturers have been using. The only vehicle I have ever purchased new that came with a true AT tire was my S10 ZR2. That little tank came with 31"x10.5" BFG A/T KO's and they were great. There is no reason GM can't use that type of tire as an AT on the trucks and SUV's.

I've never purchased a truck with the highway tires but are they as bad as the poor excuse of a tire GoodYear builds? Most of the HD's I looked at had Michelin HT's.

I drive like a person older than myself and I'm not exactly young but they really seemed to break loose easily. I'm going to see if I can get a decent trade-in on them, if so I'll upgrade. If not, I'll drive them for a year or two and save up some money for something better.

I agree, my truck had a $57k MSRP, I shouldn't have to upgrade my tires right away.

I agree on all points. I'm talking with the dealership I got the truck from to see what they can do for me. If they won't take care of me I'll be heading to discount tire.

I actually just went out and looked again, it seems my truck has GY LS-2s on it which are also terrible in the rain. According to my window sticker they were a dealer installed option which reduced the price of my truck by $200.

The LS-2s have even worse reviews then the SR-As on Tirerack.com.

I called my most local Discount Tire and they said they'd only give $2 per 32nd of tread depth. By that logic they'd only give $22 per tire at best for my GY LS-2s.

Its all about meeting EPA MPG and CAFE standards. Find the least aggressive, lowest roll resistance AT tire that is supposed to offer a quiet and good ride, and put them on.
