https://harnessdr.com/product-category/jump-seat-to-center-console-conversion/

You may contact @pgamboa through his website (which is above) as he may have some validating to due and he's a very busy guy and get's a lot of PMs.  He also may be able to get you a brand new console set up too if you haven't already bought one.

Another successful swap! Never got many photo's as I was time pressed. This console came from a 2015,  so I had to swap the USB hubs out to work with my 2018, and I do not have the wireless charging lid. But I'm not really worried about it. For the USB cables I went with the generic cables from Amazon and trimmed them (works surprisingly well.) Every function works as it should!  All in all Phil's harness is top notch, and if you never knew any better you would swear it's OEM. Another thumbs up here, Thanks Phil!?

Just as a heads up for any Canadians browsing this thread,  im from NL, Canada! Any Canadians looking into doing this swap, shipping the harness with Phil is no problem... Tracking down a console in Canada for a reasonable price is the tricky part it seems.

Jump Seat to Full Center Console Retrofit
Plug and Play Harness by PGAMBOA

For those of you looking to swap your Jump Seat to a Full Center Console, I now have a Plug and Play Harness for this upgrade!  This long awaited - PnP Harness will allow you to EASILY perform this upgrade.  NO cutting or splicing needed!

Center Console - Plug and Play Harness is $150 Shipped anywhere in the US. For Canada, please add $24.95.

Since there are several versions and configurations of center consoles and truck trim levels, I feel that I have covered a majority of the configurations that are out there.  There will be several assumptions on the ability to perform this upgrade and I’ll try to be as detailed and comprehensive as possible.

Please see the different USB Cable configuration diagrams at the end.

Assumptions:

- 2014-2015 Center Consoles will have different USB Cable requirements than 2016-2017 AND will have different USB Hubs.  The PnP Harness should be compatible, but you MUST verify the connector under the passenger AND the front of the console!  Since this is a custom product, there will be NO REFUNDS on it.

- Center Console MUST have its factory harness intact and not modified.

- Connection under the Passenger Seat AND Front of Center Console must look exactly like the diagram.  There is a variant X314 Connector under the seat, so yours MUST match in order for this harness to adapt.

- Additional GM USB Cables must be purchased separately (based on your console year) to get USB Hubs functional.

- Wireless Charging - Wireless Charging became available on 2016 and 2017 consoles.  If you are looking at adding a Wireless Charging Lid to a 2014-2015 Console, please PM me for requirements.  Also, there are known issues with 2016/2017 Consoles with the Wireless Lid and charging iPhone 8 and iPhone X Phones.  There are workarounds for this that require some form of modification to the charging module.  You can also swap the module for a 2018 Module that DOES charge iPhone 8 and iPhone X phones.  Please PM me for questions on specifics.

- Your truck MUST have an existing 110V AC Outlet AND (1) - 12V DC Cigarette Lighter Plug as you will be reusing those.  My PnP Harness DOES NOT add the 110V AC Outlet if you don’t already have it.  However, I CAN add an additional 12V DC Outlet connection if needed.

- USB Cable connections will come from your HMI (Behind the Glove Box).  You MUST verify that you have the USB Ports available, otherwise, your USB Hubs will not work correctly.

- This PnP harness DOES NOT add any Car Play, Apple Play, or Android Play functionality.  If your truck did not already come with it, you will not gain it.
With this PnP Harness, you ***should*** have ALL the components in your console functional.

Those options include:

Front of the Console:

  • Front - Left USB Hub (Dual USB - 2016/2017or Triple USB Hub 2014/2015 - Uses my Plug and Harness AND a USB Cable from the HMI
  • Front - Left 12V DC Cigarette Lighter Outlet - Uses existing connections (truck must be equipped.  If not, I can custom add this if needed)
  • Front - Right 12V DC Cigarette Lighter Outlet -  Uses my Plug and Play Harness
  • Front - Right 110V AC Outlet - Uses existing connections (truck must be equipped)

Inside Storage Compartment:

  • Inside - Left 12V DC Cigarette Lighter Outlet - Uses my Plug and Play Harness plugged into the front main 42-Way Connector
  • Inside - Right USB Hub - Uses my Plug and Play Harness plugged in the front main 42-Way Connector and USB Cable
  • Inside - LED Lamp - Uses my Plug and Play Harness plugged into the front main 42-Way Connector
  • Wireless Charging Lid (2016-2017 only) - Uses my Plug and Play Harness plugged into the front main 42-Way Connector

Rear of the Console:

  • 12V DC - Cigarette Lighter Outlet - Uses my Plug and Play Harness plugged into the front main 42-Way Connector

THERE IS A LOT TO CONSUME HERE, SO PLEASE PM IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ON THIS.  I WANT ENSURE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND ALL THE REQUIREMENT FOR THIS RETROFIT BEFORE PURCHASING.

I need a 16 pin adapter for my 2014 Silverado can u get back to me to 9563324421 am really interested it in on

Most all 2014 trucks don't have a 16-pin connector.  Have you checked it?

Here are links to order. Please note, if you do have the 23-pin version (which is likely you do), you need to order the 23-pin and send your jump seat harness in for be to rebuild.

Please note, we will be closed from 10/30 - 11/9 and will resume operations on 11/10. We will fulfill as many orders as we can before we close and will resume where we left off when we return.  Orders will be fulfilled in the order they came in.

Just realized I have a older style console with only one plug neighboring the 16-pin. It’s going into a 2018 w/o a 120v. Does that mean I’ll have to trim a USB cable and lead it from brown to black on the HMI?

If you can't get a factory USB cable, yes. You'll also need to replace the USB hubs to the ones from a 2018 to retain  Apple car play/Android auto if you truck has this.

Do you have an HMI behind your upper glove box? If so, that usb cable terminates into the black port if the HMI. You also have a green port that can be used but will be deleting the glove box port.

Just started working. No HMI! Do I have to route through the radio?

This means your USB route goes behind the radio. What usb cables are you using? GM factory ones or amazon generic ones? If GM cables, which color cables?

    • I have a 2015 Silverado and sometimes I can not get in to the truck. I use the key to unlock the driver door. Something is locking the truck when I unlock it, last night I left the truck open and this morning it was locked with the mirrors folded in. This happens while driving so it is now a safety issue. I reach down for the folding button and they open, then they close again.  Any advice, thank you,   Ed
    • Did you ever find a resolution to this? my 2019 Silverado 1500 is showing the exact same headlights issues with the exact same symptoms.  would help a ton if anyone has any advice on this or better yet a known solution..
    • Wawa and Meijer here have ethanol free (88 & 89) I use for my mower and lawn equipment.  Its not much more than reg.  I paid $3.29 a few weeks ago.
    • tl; dr I've now reached the 6th floor of hell. I'm chronicling my journey for my morning readers.   Pulling the top of the intake apart was moderately easy but it involved a lot of parts, connections, and minutae. I was preparing for the new fuel lines to arrive ("nut and bolt kit" it's called). The fuel line connections are notched and held in place by the manifold and a metal plate with a T27 screw.   It's on the back of the intake, under the firewall, with little clearance, and two hard metal fuel lines in the way. I was using Franken-tools (weird combinations of 1/4 inch ratchet with/without an extension, with a bit holder for my T27) to get in there. One of my sockets and bits fell off and has yet to emerge on the floor. I lost a second setup and that's when I almost started throwing tools. But that was the point at which I had gotten traction on the Torx head, and it promptly stripped. No more traction.   I started humming "1-877-kars-4-kids" because I was about at that point. You know what? I'm $1500 into this thing and I can make it disappear just as quickly. This isn't fun anymore. I had spent a lot of time already "tidying" around the engine bay: Fixing all the "someone's been here before!" BS. The truck has been exclusively dealer- and shop- serviced and I'm reminded of why I never let other people work on my cars unless absolutely necessary.   Speaking of dealer service. This truck has a 1" stack of records going back to 1995. I put them all in an excel spreadsheet, date/mileage/description.   The CPI spider has been replaced 4 times in 85k miles. The EGR? Another 4. Multiple, multiple O2 sensors. One Cat. 4? Sets of plugs and wires, and I swear half the stack is diagnosis paperwork for "misfire, runs rough, extended crank, dies at stoplights".   GM was producing some proper crap back then. And it was still well within the era of brittle/crappy plastic. (Windows 95 was released the same month this truck was sold new, we HAD the technology!!)   There (was) a plastic shroud around the evaporator core and HVAC fan in the engine bay. I noticed a chunk of it missing so I poked at it some more and it literally shattered. Touched it some more and pieces were crumbling off. Had a good laugh. Clearly whatever plastic garbage they were using had broken down over 30 years and was literally turning to dust. That was a good half hour of using a shop vac to remove the rest of it.   Back to it.   I was going to give up for the evening but then decided I'm already level 10 pissed off at the stripped screw: G* D* it, give me my tools back -- and my JOY. We'll do this the hard way: The whole intake is coming off.   Blazer won Round II. After finally finding and accessing the 12 intake bolts and using a pry bar to unseat it from the heads, it popped loose in an explosion of gunk and grime raining down into open ports. Awesome.   6 times I reminded myself: Be careful of the temperature sender on the front of the intake.   YEAH, I forgot again and snapped it clean off in the removal. Add another $20 to the ever-growing list of new parts this thing is consuming.   The shame is, long before removing the intake, I had changed the oil in prep for Tuesday's momentous fuel line replacement that was going to be the magic fix and I'd have a running Blazer to tool around in this next weekend. The intake removal, including raining gunk, also gushed dirty coolant all over the valley. Of course it did. Welp, there goes another $35.   I now need an intake gasket set, bolt set, coolant temp sensor, another 5 quarts of oil, some RTV. Don't worry, I've already got 3 new jugs of Dexcool and a thermostat waiting. I'll fill it with clean water first to get it running, dump it, and then add the Dex later on in case... well, let's not go there. I'm only tearing this down once, next time the truck is going on Marketplace for FREE.   Oh, and I'm going to need vacuum hose for all the stupid connections placed at the rear of the engine which have since disintegrated. Come on, GM....tell me you don't do that anymore?   Oh, and the ears on the distributor where the cap screws down are both cracked. I mean, why not put a new distributor in it too. You get a distributor, YOU get a distributor, Everyone gets a new distributor!   This truck isn't out of the woods yet...I'm already questioning how much more time I'm willing to sink in.
    • NewDude, thank you for the suggestions!    I did follow up and the dealer indicates he has an open CX case and is working with DPAC (Dealer Parts Assistance Center).   Per the dealer, GM has had a quality spill and is not providing an update for when a replacement engine will be available.
