Nope, good assumption though since most people feel it most on smooth roads. All asphalt for this ride though. Sawgrass expressway in south florida for first leg and drove perfect. Turnpike for the rest of the way and was less than desirable. My truck is actually completely smooth on concrete roads as well unlike a lot of people with this issue. I already had one truck bought back by GM and I don't have hardly any issues with this one other than the fact it doesn't like certain roads.

My 2014 lt doesn't *23,000+* miles sry 3000+ are having problems. .. im betting most of u guys have short beds and trucks that are made in the USA. Sry i just think this is so funny... for 18,000 miles my truck was stock hight before i leveled it and better tires. And all it dose is keep trucking. I think 90% of the post on this thread are a joke. I've been in 4,,, 2014 so far and never heard or seen anything. All the trucks I've been in have been CC 6.5 beds 2 gmc and my chevy and my buddys chevy.

Still trying to decipher if this is some form of Ebonics.....

well lets see, you think your opinion of a truck is not a 2wd short bed? interesting how narrow minded you are.

next you want video proof lol. well troll I have had my video on youtube for months now along with many other GM truck owners with vibration issues but you wouldn't know that since you are in denial and not interested in seeing the truth.

next you make some snarky moronic claim about people cant afford their truck and are inventing problems to get out of paying for them? you must be on serious drugs (or if not then you should be)

and you finish up saying your truck has no problems, well that's just great and I am happy for you, but no one ever said every single truck has issues but you wish to make the claim since your truck doesn't have isssues then by your warped logic that means nobodies truck can have issues.

this forum is for people who are having issues with their trucks so please go troll elsewhere like the price paid forum where its all about dealer reps and salesmen saying these trucks don't have problems, you will fit right in over there.

have a nice day colosus

I've watched your vids keakar.

Bottom line, there is problems out there, GM would not be buying back as they are.

It is hit and miss with the trucks, and I think some people are overreacting to the slightest vibe or bump' including me at times.

Overall I'm happy with mine also, but I've been at the dealership and looked in a side room at 2014 rear ends sitting on the floor, swaps secondary to vibes. I ain't calling anyone out, but that is fact.

Hahaha, I am right there with you. I wanted to respond to the post but figured it wasn't worth the time. I am happy for people that have trucks that are smooth and operate normally. That doesn't mean mine doesn't vibrate like crazy and is not operating normally.

I guess with 6 billion people on this planet, there will always be those few that really just don't get life in general. I especially love the comment about not being able to afford the payment.....

sry , for me having a opinion gl vibrating down the roads

Having an opinion is not an issue but you need to present it in a constructive way. Lumping everyone together and claiming that they are making up vibrations because they can't afford the payment makes no sense. People have trucks that shake, dealers have acknowledged this. My dealer has had two other trucks vibrate and they certainly are not the only dealer seeing the issue. I am happy you have a smooth running truck but you have no reason to stereotype or bash others because their trucks have issues.

Also, your argument gets worse if you can't construct coherent sentences in your posts.

I believe you are correct that we may be sometimes over reacting to vibration, but I believe that is because there IS an issue and no answers from GM. I wish GM would come forward and clarify what are the know problems and what are just design characteristics. IMHO, open dialogue would be very beneficial in sorting this out.

I concur 110% with your statement.

My dealer has several vibrating trucks, I was the first to put LT tires on, and correct the vibe, they just put a set of LT bridge stones on another truck, and it smoothed it out. Seems that's the fix

seansharley,

Do you think this could be because of the fact they are overall better tires with less roadforce than the stock goodyears, or do you think it is because of the construction of the LT tires? Just curious as I put Toyo Open Country P-rated tires on and they ride great on very smooth roads all the way up to 85mph, but when I am on other (not so great) asphalt roads it shimmys pretty good so maybe LT tires are the way to go for me.

I know it will be a tad stiffer ride with the LT on cracks and bumps etc, but do you overall feel less road imperfections? I am curious since these frames are so stiff, if the P-rated tires are actually absorbing the bumps but reverberating and sending some kind of frequency through the truck whereas the LT just absorbs them.

For me I know the truck is fine (tires and mechanically) since it is extremely smooth on certain roads but other roads seem to drive it nuts.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Another week of waiting on General Motors :nonod:

It sure looks great sitting on the service row :tumbleweed:

It's so sad it only has 1,100 miles on it. What's even worse is I only put 400 miles on it

since I picked it up on 10/18/2014 !

For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

I spent the day at the dealer today for the vibration at 45-55 mph and they determined that 3 out of the 4 goodyear gsa passenger tires were out of round. Im am replacing the tires with LT michelins to hopefully correct the issue
