Long time listener first time caller.. hoping to get some input on here possibly. 2008 Tahoe 4.8 with factory remote start. Remote start will not start the vehicle after it has been sitting any period of time. It will set off the CEL light but inserting the key and turning the truck on immediately clears it. It will only work immediately after shutting the vehicle down. Took it to an independent shop this week and they are saying it’s likely a BCM issue. In reading several forums I’ve seen the RCDLR cited as the culprit on these issues. I remember seeing something about possibly pulling a fuse to reset the RCDLR,is that possible to aid in diagnosing the issue? Thanks in advance!
I have a 2001 Silverado 2500 HD, wondering if I had a body control module issue, my heated seats don’t work, my driver side seat only worked half way i.e. The lumbar support works but the lean and moving the seat functions do not, along with my keyless entry not working but my power locks do work. Any ideas?
I just purchased a house with a garage and my 2014 Silverado is exhibiting the Homelink transmitter only working at short range to open the garage door. It will work in the garage sitting under the opener, but not from outside the door. On this forum, I found reference to a TSB related to this. I found it out on the web as TSB# 16-NA-306. Problem is that my truck is out of warranty. I just sent a message to Chevrolet to see if they will do something for me since I didn't have the opportunity to try out the home link transmitter since I haven't had a garage until now!
Has anyone else had any luck with this type of request? I'm hopping they'll do some sort of exception for me. Especially since I previously owned a Silverado and my wife has an Imapala. My Dad also has a Colorado. Quite the Chevy family

We say two thumbs up. The Silverado 2500 HD has four Special Editions. There are the Tribute, Alaskan, Custom Sport, and Midnight Edition. The Tribute is an LTZ/Z71 with a black bowtie, chrome front skid plate and an American flag logo stretching from the "splash-up" area behind the front tire to the rear taillights. The flag is rendered in one color and is offset by the vehicle body colors. We think the blue looks particularly good with the white flag decal overlaid. Chevy has given the flag an "aero" look.
We like the look and this reporter gives the look two thumbs up. What say you, GM-Trucks.com faithful?
I am looking for a complete front bumper assembly for a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500. I need the model with fog lights and without parking assist. I would like a new take-off or a like-new used bumper. 1 or 2 minor blems ok, but no major scratches, no dents, and no rust. Some phone-watcher hit mine and I need to replace it!
