Do some research first, If I recall correctly, the Colorados have the same problems. I could just be dreaming though

My brother has a 15 4x4 cc 3.6 Colorado and it rides like a caddy. He's had it to about 90 with me and 0 vibrations at all. 358f4c489a425e5dbbeaafb475c0988a.jpg

Here's a great article for owners that are having a hard time getting their dealer to attempt their 3rd or 4th repair to be able to use their state's Lemon Law. Note that Steve Lehto mentions that the statute states how many times that the vehicle "has been subject to repair," rather than the actual number of repair attempts. This distinction certainly would appear to help those owners in which GM refuses to even try to make any repairs.

Got a call from the dealer. The field engineer says to replace all four of my shocks??? This is after another dealer replaced my driveshaft and after several road force balances?? Is this gonna solve anything?

Sadly, most likely not

I really hate to say this, but as an update as of tonight, my truck is fixed. It just sat at the dealership for a week, and they finally called me and told me to come pick out any set of wheels/tires off any other truck on the lot and they would swap them for me. I hate saying this because I know it's not the fix for most guys here, but my truck rides completely smooth, like you're on glass up to about 95mph, even with cruise set. I stuck with 22" wheels, but ended up picking a set of the black ones that look like this:

They look good, and I guess they work a lot better than the chrome ones I had.

So in the end was that the ultimate solution? Or was it the final step to a laundry list of other fixes?

In the end, new wheels and tires fixed the issue completely. The issue I was having was a vibration at 68mph+ in the seats, floor, pedals, and center console. I had the truck in a total of three times, the first two times they just kept road forcing the wheels and tires I had, and couldn't figure it out. This last time, I got the impression that it just sat, and they got tired of it, so just told me to pick out a new set, before they exchanged the truck. I guess I should note that I never had a vibration at 40, and never was my vibration in the steering wheel. One of the rear wheels and tire on the chrome ones came up with a road force variation at 22 in the best case, and took 6.75 ounces of weight. That probably was the issue all along, but the service manager didn't want to replace a tire... Whatever ha. Edited by 650h1

You went from 22 chrome vibration to 22 aluminum Bridgestone with no vibration. Do you remember the tire manufacturer of the 22 chromes?

Both tire manufacturers are bridgestone. The chrome wheels had the Bridgestone Dueler AT's, while the black ones have the Bridgestone Dueler HL's. That picture isn't an exact picture of the wheels and tires they put on my truck, just a picture I found on the internet. Again, Im 99% certain that the issue with the other set of wheels and tires was the rear driver side tire that took 6.75 ounces of weight, and had a road force variation of 22, even after vectoring the wheel and tire to the correct position. The wheel indexed completely straight so I think it was just one bad tire, and they could've fixed the whole problem by just replacing that one tire. But the service manager didn't want to replace tires so...

I'm im the BBB process again and the GM rep offered us ONE MONTHS PAYMENT to make us go away. Is he SERIOUS!?!? We told him we've haven't been so insulted in this whole process as we are right now. THE NERVE OF THESE PEOPLE. He KNOWS this is the second time we're doing this! They didn't even have the nerve to try offering that to us the first time! He didn't even acknowledge the final repair attempt! Nope - 1 months payment.

I have those same wheels/tires on my 2014 Rally edition except they have the chevy emblem. Mine vibrates like crazy at 74+, Im really suprised that fixed the issue for you. Have you tried to rotate the wheels/tires again just for the heck of it and see if the vibration comes back?

I do NOT have those tires... let's be clear about that. I have the bridgestone Dueler HL's. Also, there is no vibration in my steering wheel, seat, center console, pedals, or anything now... so I don't think rotating them would change anything.
