Not liking the look of it at all. I'll stick with my 14. The current edition of the silverado looks a lot better IMO. The front end looks horrible and the back end looks just like a tundra. 

 

I guess GM wants to have the truck crossbred between a silverado, tundra, ridgeline.

Im not crazy about it, but then again, i usually don't like many redesign reveals right off the bat. They usually grow on me over time. That being said, this new truck is a step in the wrong direction from the current gen IMO.

 

It is a hot mess. F150 headlights, colorado cab, and tundra bed. A total mish-mosh. The proportions do not flow well at all. Why would GM ditch the square wheel wells and boxy look? They have had a signature look going. All of the half-tons are morphing into the same look.

Really GM had a good run with the current look.  Didn't it start in 07 08 ? Figure a 10 plus year run is pretty good. But no doubt the  wheel wells did set them apart .

No.  The GMT-900 was from 07 to 13, and the current started in 14.

I like it with the exception of a few things...The fender going into the headlight. The mirrors being lower on the door instead of the front triangle area of the window. The rear windows don't look like they will go all the way down with that raised portion in the rear of them. 

I'm really curious to see how this looks without the aggressive tires and 2" lift in other trim levels.

I may be one of the odd balls, but I generally don't care what it looks like overall.  There's only so much you can do with the exterior of a truck and still have it functional.  I did buy a GMC because I like the looks a little more, but assuming GMC didn't exist I would have bought the Chevy, not because of how it looked, but because of how it performed.  I spend my time on the inside, so the cabin, engine, ride, capabilities, quality, and features matter more to me than where a few crimps in the sheet metal are.  None of the current big three trucks are ugly, they're just different. In fact, I like the looks of the RAM Rebel a little bit more than the current Chevy, but having owned a RAM, I probably won't own another one due to mechanics of the vehicle, not the appearance.  I'll withhold judgement on the 2019s until I know the specs.

I really like it. I was hoping they would have made it more "Coloradoish" and it appears they have. Got rid of the goofy square wheel wells...yes!!!

are we going back in time?  My first thought is.. its a mix between the Tundra and good old 99 Chevy!

I wouldn't be buying a Silverado next time, hopefully the GMC trucks design look better. They should hire me to design for pete's sake.  i could do it better with my eyes closed.

One of my favorite designs still like the looks of those 99's. They could do worse!

I LOVE the exterior. Cant wait to hear about the specifics.  Chevrolet took into account all previous model designs, including other models. Look at the rear of the current Corvette and compare it to the front of this new truck.
