My truck arrived to the rail yard in Twin Oaks, PA on Saturday 5/11... My dealer tells me they need to wait for GM to complete the delivery to the dealership before they can provide me an ETA.  My dealership is 1 hour from the rail yard... the wait is killing me, I'm so close!

As of 5/16 my event code is now "4800B"... whatever that means.  I assume unloaded from the train and bayed waiting on transport.  The wait continues.

The RST i had ordered is sitting all lonely at the dealership.  Been there well over a month....guess no one wants it.

I'm surprised how few RSTs I've seen on the road. I would say the trucks I see the most around my part of DFW are:

1. LT Trail Boss - seen a LOT of these this month

2. AT4s - surprised how many of these I have seen

3. LT Silverado CCs - have always been popular with the TX Edition packages

4. Denalis - a lot of people driving these in the upper middle class 'burbs

I really thought the RST would be bigger seller. Most of the dealer inventories I've looked at seem to have RSTs as the fewest models of the 2019s.

Carbon Black Metallic (Similar to the old Black Granite Metallic) will be available on the 2020 trucks.

I have yet to see a GMC Elevation out and about on the streets.

Here in KC AT4's and Silverado LTZ/Trail Bosses are about a tie.

I had optioned this RST to the max.  Performance, 20's, at's, leather, conv II, safety, max tow, etc.  Msrp was like 59.

Me either. GM limiting it to the DC would be a big reason.

Sounds like a pretty sweet ride. I'm wavering back and forth on whether or not I regret not getting the performance exhaust on mine. I'd like to hear the new 5.3L DFM with a tuned exhaust before I decide, I think.

I am new to this site so it may take awhile to figure it out.

Ordered my LT Trail Boss in March and picked it up this morning.  No  pictures yet bit will try to do  that out soon.

Looking forward to learning more about this truck from everyone.

Thanks,

Brad

Congratulations! For sure you'll enjoy any moment of cursing with your beast. If you see any misbehaving by her, just be patient and break-in the truck exactly per the procedures mentioned in the manual, page 246. You can download the owner's manual from here:
