Wireless Charger in Center Console Lid

Recommended Posts

We konw what it cost retail, and we know you can do it for a lot less, but for me OEM better then non OEM, If the OEM has the parts we tend to do OEM, its a personal thing for us.

Here are the 4 parts you need.

23248791 Module

23124536 Harness

22946567 Liner

23208762 Tray this you can mod by cuting out part to have the coil agenst the liner.

if you look on line you can get the cost down to 200+ so not that bad IMO.

do you have any pictures of this installed in your truck? Do you have links on where you got the parts from, quick ebay search and nothing came up.

I agree with you, if oem can be done then oem would be better esp after just buying my denali. Sucks it didn't come with charging

If you want you can also go to go and buy the new arm rest that comes in the new 2016 chevy or gmc that has wireless charging I have it in my new truck and it works awesome not sure how much it is but worth to look into it

I dont think its a simple plug and play....

Useless to me as my Note4 doesn't fit in the pocket correctly anyway

Has anyone bought the OEM parts and installed them into your truck ? I've did a search and found how guys have added the aftermarket versions but, haven't found anything where guys have bought the OEM parts and did the install. I was thinking about adding this feature to my 2015 Sierra. I would like to know before I buy the complete lid & harness if this will be plug & play. My truck is the SLT version and is pretty well loaded with the full feature console. It has the USB ports, 12 volt plugs, etc. I also looked on youtube but, didn't see anything there either for the OEM install. Any help would be much appreciated.

Im pretty sure you can get the parts. They will cost ya 3 times as much as going aftermarket.

Guess that's why no one has installed and OEM unit yet.

Yeah I get that... Everyone wants to save a little money.... There is some OK deals on ebay if you want to go OEM and that's what I would rather do. I just don't want to tear into the console only to find out that it can't be accomplished without cutting up my wiring. At that point I'm no longer interested..... I have found that there is two different console harnesses. I'm not sure what the differences mean though. One harness part number is 23359737. The other part number is 23124536. The second one is cheaper than the first one from what I can find. My truck is a SLT model and is pretty well loaded with most options. I wouldn't mind adding this one.

Did the Nokia DT 900 in my 2014 SLT. Went one step further and added a couple status LED`s to show power and charging status. Blue is power and red is charging. Red blinks and goes out when charging is done. Ordered the charging mat from a 2016 and it doesn`t quite fit properly, needs to have the sides trimmed and it isn`t long enough but does keep the phone in place. The tray from a 2016 will not fit either.
