Our LTZ is still in Fort Wayne. It was built on the 6th and is currently bayed at event code 4B00. So it's parked at the plant but I'm not sure if it needs something done to it before it can ship OR if it's just waiting for the next full truck coming this way.

Wasn't it pulled for a quality control reason?

Maybe that issue has not been resolved.

A member here that has a new Trail Boss had to have the hood repainted.

That's what it looked like but after the invoice was created it should have shipped if that was the case. So now I'm pretty confused.

I am assuming the shipment to NH is probably by rail since its about 1,000 miles +- as trucks are more regional.  It typically takes a month after the invoice to get to a ramp in the dealers region, so 2 weeks is not long.   Logistics take time, the train heading NE is not going to move till its a full load.

Unless you are talking (on the phone) with the dealer business center (only for dealers) than any other info you get could be outdated by as much as 24-48 hrs.  Any other access is not real time.

·        4B00, Bayed by the shipper (listed anytime a vehicle is sitting parked waiting for next mode of transportation.)

4D00, Bayed for Quality Control Inspection (Unknown Time frame)nkn

·        4200, Shipped (Moved or in process of moving to another location by transport company, see 4300)

·        4300, Intermediate Delivery (In combination with a 4200 this is saying that the vehicle has been transported to a vendor or upfitter)

A    Also note,  shipped DOES NOT mean its moving, it means its in the hands of the shipper and there are 1,000's of trucks to load one at a time.

I tried putting in an order for a 2018 double cab Silverado since my local dealer had a lease special on them, and this is what i was told to do by the salesman. I recently found out from this salesman that they aren't accepting orders on the 2018 model anymore, so I am being forced into getting the new 2019, which isn't too much of a problem as long as it doesn't raise the cost much (plus I think the new trail boss looks pretty sweet). It seems kind of ridiculous to me that they are doing this without having the build options open on the Chevy website for people, but I've never ordered a brand new vehicle so I don't really know what the norm is for this type of thing. The Salesman said he would put in an order for me for a truck that'll be as close to the 2018 build options that I chose. I'm just curious how the dealers are making these orders? Do they have a private site that they do orders on? Or is there a site I can go to for building out a new 2019?

It took ~9 weeks from my order to get the VIN. However,  I am still waiting for Delivery!
