Curious what the average and best gas mileage you've gotten in your 2015-2018 silverado or sierrra 1500 crew cab is? Mine so far is pictured. It is a 2018 Sierra SLT Z71 4WD Crew with the the 5.2 liter V8 8-speed.

My best in 25 miles was 27.1, in 50 miles it was 26.5 and in 400 mikes it was 25.3. This was all with the factory tires and wheels along with 2” block in rear and 2.5” lift up front. Since installing the new tires and wheels, I’m not even close to these numbers. The best in 25 mikes now is 23.5.

Take this with a grain of salt because I have 17" wheels instead of 20" and I don't think the dealership re-calibrated my speedometer, but my 17 v6 on the road says it gets 29.9.  However, driving in town that son of a gun sticks around 12.6.  Errrrr.  I'll do some manual calculations and see what it really is soon.

2016 Sierra 1500 SLT 2WD

I spend a lot of time getting over 25 MPG and I basically just drive the speed limit everywhere. Sometimes when I have to slow down for traffic or rain I get 30+. Best I ever averaged for 25 miles was 45.6 but it's cheating as I was coasting down a mountain in New Mexico. Secret is to always coast to stop. Drive like you have no brakes. I honestly floor it all the time and accelerate hard.
