Sorry, just saw the request for pics, but mine looks identical to the pics posted on the previous page, i just put the hose clamps on the outboard sides of the white mounts. Still holding.

Soooooo my truck is in the shop for some hail damage and I have a 2014 Malibu as my loaner for the week. It has the SAME EXACT seat shifting/clicking issue when I take turns. Not that this is a major consolation, but this problem is not limited to the Silverados.

I got my truck back last night, they replaced the seat clip from a service bullitin. So far so good. If it only didn't take talking to the General Manager to get it done.

Yeah, my loaner for a week was a LTZ Impala. Great car, same shitty seat problem as my Silverado. Taking it back this week. I swear Im ready to yank this thing out and replace it with a lawn chair. This is really getting old.

I'm going to try the hose clamp method a user posted about a couple pages back. It seems to work and would save me yet another trip to the dealer when they couldn't even fix it the first time. And if it does work, I'll just leave the clamps there because it's out of sight and I really don't care that it's a band-aid type fix as long as it works.

Question for those that have done the hose clamp fix? After doing the fix can you move the seat? My wife is -short woops not politacally correct, I mean FUN SIZE. Not that she gets to drive it, but would like for her to be able to if needed.

It has been ten days or so since I did the clamp trick. Works great for me!! I have moved it two or three inches but not to extremes. Don't want to mess it up.

I have moved it every way possible and mine is still holding strong. Go for it!

Do the cloth seats have the seat movement issues?

Yes I have cloth seats and my seat shifts/clicks. I do have the 10-way power adjustable driver's seat though. I'm not sure if the manually adjustable seat has this issue or not.

So far people are fixing their brand new GM trucks with hose clamps on the seat, and to open the flapper valve in the exhaust. They used two hose clamps to balance my drve shaft (which didn't completely fix the vibration I have...and a lot of others have). It begs the question....maybe new GM trucks should come with a bag of various size hose clamps? GM...this is getting embarrassing for you. FIX YOUR PRODUCT ALREADY!! Geesh!

Also if your seat cushion starts to ripple along the side it is the rod that moves the seat back and forth that has come loose and is tearing through the foam. That is one of the other things that are being fixed on my truck on Tuesday.

That's good to know I will keep an eye out for that.
