GM is only covering half the cost cause I'm out of warranty. Such BS.

I have a 2014 Silverado crew cab with 600 miles (bought in 2015) that exhibits the seat movement and also has smears inside the windshield glass which is a new one to me! Also had paint issues I really hoped this would be a nice truck. Haven't started having everything reworked yet just wonder if that action will make things worse . Dissatisfied with GM quality AGAIN, I said in 2007 I'd never buy another after buying a new Avalanche and Suburban and should have stuck to my plan. So sad this stuff makes it to market. The windshield issues is unreal, had nothing to do with new model it's sloppy workmanship and care!

Had mine fixed last week with the addition of 2 retainers (13594989 & 13405675) and strap (12337820). So far so good.

Fat fingered, and shot from the hip.

Add me to the list. Also fixed it for a few bucks at home depot. Hose clamps and rubber. Been a week. So far so good. So much easier than messing with the dealership.

Update - I'm taking my truck into a different Chevy dealer service department tomorrow morning, to have the drivers seat movement issue fixed, under one of the existing TSB's out there (#13310A, PI1183A, or 15304). The service manager I talked with seems like a pretty knowledgeable guy, and ordered the parts for the movement issue beforehand, so they won't be waiting on anything when my truck arrives.

I'm also going to have him check the torque on my u-bolts, to be sure they're at the correct factory tightness of 78ft.-lb. We'll see if it will help the "clunking" in the read-end when I'm coasting, and then re-apply the gas. He's also going to check that all of the factory updates for the transfer case have been applied. If nothing else, at least this will be the 2nd service visit on record for the rear-end "clunking" issue.

I'll report back in, once I've picked-up my truck. Happy New Year All - Rick

78 psi? Try 78 ft-lbs.

Oops, my whiff - you're correct 78 ft-lbs. :freak:

Unfortunately, they're doing the shim kit repair first. If that doesn't work, I told them I'd be back for the seat bottom frame replacement. The Service Manager told me they have done this repair several times for other customers, and none have been back complaining about seat movement. Time will tell......... I pick the truck up on Wednesday and will report back. Rick

Update - Couldn't pick my truck up last week, but hopefully going to get it back today. Will report back on the seat movement "fix."

Just got home, and didn't feel any more seat movement. With that said, I drove straight city streets and freeway the whole way home. The true test will come next time I'm heading out to the coast, on Hwy 1. I'll report back soon.......

Well, I'm beyond Happy to report that my drivers seat movement issue is now GONE!!! I didn't pick-up the paperwork when I got my truck, as the Service advisor was swamped and said he'd mail it to me. Once I get it, I'll post a copy of it, showing the TSB#. Rick

here is something that you might have the dealers try. I had my first seat replaced with one out of a 2015, no movement at first then a slight movement and a annoying squeak/noise from the seat started. the fix was the seat bolts were not tightened enough. they can go a 1/4 to a 1/2 torn past the initial stop point. the service manger torqued the s### out of it and no more movement or squeak. just an idea, worked well for me.
