Custom Trail Boss Console Upgrade?

I have contacted my local dealer and they won't replace my lid.  Could someone provide step by step instructions on how to do this or the best would be a video?

Don't forget the instructions. I thought mine was going to be just be the top section, it is the entire assembly. The storage bin is adequate - to say much more than we have a present.

Let me know if anyone comes across anything that can be added or modified to increase the utility for the front seat passengers.

i bought the one from the dealer in texas for around 250 bucks. installed looks like an exact match and now i have center seat storage. bought the under seat storage for the back seat for around the same. so for 500 bucks i have about the same storage the LT has for 10 grand less. no idea why the LT is so much more.

Just picked up our Trail Boss yesterday. Was disappointed as well about the non-existent console both front and back, but especially front. Looking for options, too.

Did you check the WEB Site? I doubt the seats were redesigned for the 2020, but check with vender. The 2019 center console I got was surprisingly well made. Appears to be GM product.

Some mentioned that you must loosen the bolts holding in the drivers seat.  What is the reason for that?  If it's to access the bolt holding on the seat belt, it looks like to me that you could use an offset wrench to access that bolt head.  Any thoughts on this?

I think your correct. I have one I'm ready to swap and thought that also. I was looking for any comments about removing the plastic covers and any tricks to know. I dont want to damage anything.

Go slow it not hard. If you have any wrench time you will be fine.

Let us know how it went.  Especially if you were able to use an offset wrench (and not loosen the drivers seat) and the size would be helpful.   I have contacted sdparts and they told me they don't have it in stock so I have held off on ordering it....but I hope they will get it soon so I can get it ordered...  Are there other good places to order from?

I loosened the bolts but did not remove just move around.plastic works off just take your time and buy extra clips.  You can use some of them but I just used the new ones.
