My AT4 has numerous USB connection ports.  Couldn't your wife just plug into one you're not using?  Are all the USB ports capable of charging?

I'll let you know when I finally receive my truck. In the meantime I'll ask you this: "Are there enough USB ports to charge 3 cell phones and 4 tablets simultaneously?" That's my haul when I have the entire family in my car. With a 3 row SUV (2017 Chevrolet Traverse), using the power ports in the front dash, back of the center console for the 2nd row, and next to the rear hatch for the 3rd row, and each of them have a dual USB plug, the answer is, "No." If a 3 row SUV can't get the job done, then a pickup truck definitely won't. So, what's the big issue about adding 1 more means to charge electronic devices to make things a bit easier?

Im interested in doing this, how were you able to figure how the steps you needed to take to get this all hooked up and what you needed?

I just looked at gmpartsdirect and found the parts in the diagrams,  i just took everything apart and hoped it would work.  I got the harness with rear heat heater. I noticed the harness behind the seat was there.  I just tried adding rear heated seats this weekend it did not work.  i think some needs turn on in BCM.

Depends on which truck you get.  My 2020 RST has 6 USB/USB-C ports plus 2 power ports that can have dual USB chargers.  That gives me 10 USB charging ports in a crew cab.

The 2021 has wireless CarPlay and android auto but it really sucks battery. It sure would be nice to have a wireless charger, I think I might try this. Thank you for the info!

The wireless charging in my truck doesn't work. I've tried it with a couple of different phones, which all work fine with other wireless charging devices. tried it for fun the other day without the phone's case on (charges wirelessly with the case on with other chargers). still nothing. I was thinking about disconnecting it because of the warning of any metal objects in that area possibly getting hot due to induced current should the charger ever turn on for some reason. I just plug the phone in to one of the 6 usb ports. works just fine.

Simply the cost to charge a single device.  Just put one of these in the back seat for the kids and you can charge whatever you want.  $15 -  problem solved.
